  • gbdmedia Brad Duffy (@gbdmedia) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

@APLenehan our local tower has had “known issues” for four years now. Our internet doesn’t work at all now. According to xplornet, there are no plans to fix the tower. This is the worst service I have ever seen. 10 kB/s now. This is shameful.

  • koopy Steve Koopman (@koopy) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

@AnnDeer4 @Xplornet I have and they quickly gave me a $15/month credit for 6 months. But I almost don’t care - it’s the speed and dependability I need, not a relatively menial and temporary savings in service. I think that’s also telling how they gave the discount so effortlessly.

  • koopy Steve Koopman (@koopy) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

I feel like @Xplornet and similar rural internet companies are the modern equivalent of Blockbuster, and guys like @elonmusk with @SpaceX’s Starlink are Netflix. The former simply can’t see the train coming down the tracks. Stop ignoring your customers’ needs! 7/

  • koopy Steve Koopman (@koopy) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

So, I ask an honest question of @Xplornet - what are you doing to address your overburdened LTE service? Forget the corporate speak, subterfuge, key messaging & the oh so dreaded, “Please contact our customer support.”Instead, provide a true answer so we can decide to stay or go.

  • koopy Steve Koopman (@koopy) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

The tragic thing is we get used to @Xplornet’s shitty service, we sit there, and we take it. We become complacent, and we say: “Well, tonight it only took 1 min to buffer a movie.” “I think those pixels are faces.” “It only paused or froze 10 times over 2 hours.” 13/

@AndyBlizzard87 I hear ya. I was with WTC for years near Sunbury but after our last move they didn’t have coverage in our current rural area. We were forced to choose @Xplornet, who have been hit and miss, but over the last 1-2 years they’ve been brutal because they flooded their LTE service.

  • charlie1105 Charlie Walker (@charlie1105) reported

@XplornetES #FunFactFriday Xplornet is the worst internet provider on planet earth, and are doing their best to make sure that Canada will never feature in that list by taking your money and refusing to provide an internet service.

  • Engoddyn In Training (@Engoddyn) reported

@APLenehan @Xplornet The absence of dialog on this tweet, the company you chair and the twitter page is reflective of how forgettable the garbage you peddle.

  • stockandpillory A. Newell (@stockandpillory) reported

@Xplornet I am at the end of my rope. Every day a customer service agent gives me a new reason that my internet is less than 1MB. Apparently, even in November on a clear, sunny day, it's wind, rain, and foliage that are the issue. We pay for a service. Deliver it. It's that easy

  • mrrgteacher Mr. Restoule General (@mrrgteacher) reported

@Xplornet My internet has been out for over two days. Thought the weather may have been a factor but today doesn’t seem to be a weather related outage. Please help!

  • CdnARS_VE4PER CdnARS VE4PER (@CdnARS_VE4PER) reported

@Xplornet I did the restart Customer Prem Demarc equipment as well as any firewall/router for home wifi etc here & nothing worked to solve it I used the login to the modem provided & checked stats there also and nothing changed It was data traffic congestion due oversold network hardware

  • GerardCooke8 Gerard Cooke (@GerardCooke8) reported

@Xplornet Upgrade your terrible Pugwash, NS tower

  • INeededTheMoney Jesse Campbell (@INeededTheMoney) reported

@Xplornet Uh.. you guys should worry less about taking nature photos and worry more about providing a reliable service. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.

  • INeededTheMoney Jesse Campbell (@INeededTheMoney) reported

@Xplornet at what point do you start refunding your clients for terrible service and down time? This is literally the worst internet provider on the planet. They know they are the only provider for some areas and they rip those customers off severely!

  • PennyOlo Penny Olorenshaw (@PennyOlo) reported

@Piccia @Xplornet To be fair, we are on a wireless system, and it isn't always this slow, but we would kill for 600mbps. I can't even imagine how fast that must be. Like blinky-fast!
