@xplore_ca You need to fix your internet it's getting really annoying I use YouTube to help me sleep and it never works I try resetting and nothing

@xplore_ca Not enough towers, prices that are legitimately out of this world for the service offered. There’s no other companies out here though so you have no other option. They know this and take advantage which is why there’s a class action against them right now

Having Videotron expand to Manitoba covers up for the government's failure in the Bell/MTS deal to maintain a fourth wireless provider in that province. Bell sold some MTS customers and spectrum to Xplornet, but Xplornet Mobile shut down last year.

@KirkLubimov @JustinTrudeau We pay for high speed but get crap in rural Belleville Ontario Bell and xplornet got millions of gov money and are screwing us here

@Maqaiti I wonder if there are issues when it rains like Xplornet have all the time?

Just became a @SpaceXStarlink customer. Instead of the horribly slow wifi from xplornet, paying for 25 mb and actually only getting 10-15 on a good day, we now have 174+ mb. I don’t know what to say!! Get #Starlink!

  • Can_Libertarian
Bennett Hunter (I am Canadian Libertarian) (@Can_Libertarian) reported

@macjbby @nationalpost I live stream in full HD with no problem. Typical speeds are around 200 - 300 Mbps down/15-25 Mbps up. I use to be stuck with Xplornet that advertised 10/1 as the best speeds for my area, yet rarely ever got more than 3 - 4 down/1 up. Starlink is on a completely different level,…

    High Caliber (@RealHICALIBER) reported

@PersonNotGroup @TheQuartering We got the same service Jeremy has (starlink) or we couldn't have done what he did. We found 52 acres WAAAAY up in the rockies, no cell coverage at all, but we needed internet of course. Xplornet was the only previous option, and not at all reliable.

@xplore_ca It's overly expensive for no reason. The recent upgrade I got is a lot more stable but there are times it is absolute dog **** for the 100+ dollars I pay a month for 50mbs. Waiting for Fibre to come down my road.

  • VoosieVooters
    Lomaxcat (@VoosieVooters) reported

@xplore_ca I'm getting latency of 1.5s with my Xplore service. Not much of a bargain.
