Dear #CRTC Journo's, Words (and people) are coming to me asking if I know anything about Xplornet ending their service in Nunavut (this is what they are being told). Any info? CC: @thewirereport @CarttCa

  • LabradorIce Robert Way (@LabradorIce) reported

@ClimateSadie Lots of issues with XplorNet from users. We have had it before and the cost versus speed and limitations on data usage were real tough. Most people that I know who had XplorNet in communities didn't keep it.

  • i_like_soup_ J✨ (@i_like_soup_) reported

Hey Xplornet!! A customer not having internet for 6 days is not acceptable in case you were wondering!!! I put up with having 2 Mbps speeds when I pay for 50 Mbps (at a price that should get me gigabit speeds) but this is ridiculous!!!

  • lundhillbilly far apart & close at heart (@lundhillbilly) reported

Just became a @SpaceXStarlink customer. Instead of the horribly slow wifi from xplornet, paying for 25 mb and actually only getting 10-15 on a good day, we now have 174+ mb. I don’t know what to say!! Get #Starlink!

  • UAPFirstContact 🇨🇦UFO / UAP First Contact🇺🇸🏞️🌎☀️🌌🖖 (@UAPFirstContact) reported

@elonmusk @SpaceX Cancelling, been waiting 2 years, and now data caps and throttling? I can get that garbage from Xplornet now.

  • VoosieVooters Lomaxcat (@VoosieVooters) reported

@RCLranger @stan_sdcollins I'll have to call Bell again and see if we can get a signal. They haven't been in our area before, and Rogers didn't work for us, so we've been stuck with Xplornet.

  • 2Bfrankpat Frank Patterson (@2Bfrankpat) reported

@xplornet I can’t be the only one having trouble tonight.... cmon man

  • realDonaldCarr Donald Carr (@realDonaldCarr) reported
