Xplornet tried to pull the wool over me some years again until I threatened legal action as well as chucking the dish through there head office

There’s no other companies out here though so you have no other option. They know this and take advantage which is why there’s a class action against them right now

G. Louise (@Shuswapgigi) reported@MrStache9 We have Starlink and we like it. We live rural so our options were limited and what we had was very poor in both cost and effectiveness. Starlink was super easy to set up and works reliably well. It costs us $156 a month which is more that xplornet but I wouldn't go back!

Both suck, however, many in the area have said their Xplornet signal became better when some users switched to Starlink. They are roughly the same, but nowhere near as good as fibre optic in the cities.

Mark Carruthers (@MarkC_Avgi) reported@jzantinge2 @KenSchaus We had Xplornet from the time of them first offering service in our area &, after being without any internet for 2 months in 2020, we changed to another non-Bell / non-Rogers internet service provider. Fibre has been laid in our area to be connected soon.

Ally Bryant (@Eh_Bee_Sea) reported@xplore_ca Did the forest suddenly spring up last month? No. It's been there quite a while, and the high speed internet has worked without a problem through at least 3 Summer's worth of leaves. I have enough signal now to reply, but it takes a full minute to send. Videos won't load.
