@Xplornet Regrettably @xplornet should be called Xpoornet. Vastly oversubscribed, terrible download rates, hugely uncompetitive.

I am using mobile data to access online services, thanks to Xplornet and their "traffic management policies" destroying my connection. Maybe I should start sending my bill for that back to @Xplornet every month since they're not providing the service they're advertising.

@cpwcsk I was about to pony up for that and xplornet went LTE at Elrose and saved me a bunch of dollars. The satellite service was terrible for us. One time I updated SMS and downloaded display firmware before harvest and hit my data cap. LTE at least has unlimited data.

@Xplornet Too bad your side is an oversold piece of **** that can’t even push out enough speed to play 1080p

@bigbushelsag @olblue81 @Xplornet I refuse to support a project that pollutes our sky with >40K objects, doesn’t allow the escape of ubiquitous internet coverage and only supports deep pockets.

@JesseBrown @sula_greene Yeah, it was awesome when Xplornet purchased our local, rural ISP, then promptly shut it down leaving us with nothing.

@kevdevlyn @Xplornet I'm so angry that Starlink isn't functional here yet. I imagine the CRTC or some other government arm will totally **** us on it, like they do everything else. Including not allowing unlimited data phone plans and stifling infrastructure expansion. I live in SOUTHERN ONTARIO.

@olblue81 @Xplornet Average speedtest results are 6mbps over the last six months. Average results in the middle of the night (15mbps+) skew that number up, and during the day (2mbps) skew it down. Package speed is 25mbps.

@Xplornet have you changed the throttling policies? I seem to be locked at 3.5Mbps now, like every speed test no matter what time of day is exactly 3.5. My signal has not changed from when I was getting 20ish a few days ago.
