@justincooke182 @cogeco Curious as to why changing the DNS resolves the issue. Does it imply that the issue is not with the internet service, rather it's with Cogeco's DNS gateway? Or do you think they took down their DNS gateway to look into an issue with their service?

@reface_app You guys are a ******* joke.. Province wide outtage and you ******* idiots don’t put out any statement or eta regarding it? Get your ******* monopoly outta Grimsby. Cogeco provides the worst service I’ve ever had. We need Rogers. Cogeco go back to Quebec and stay there.

@cogeco The issue appears to be related to DNS servers - if you set your DNS servers to Google's Public DNS your service may work. DNS server: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

@cogeco Here's how to fix it on Mac: Settings > Network Click on Wi-Fi on the left. Click "Advanced..." on the bottom right. Click DNS at the top. Click the plus sign on the bottom left under "DNS Servers". Type 8.8.8.8 Do it again for 8.8.8.4 "OK" and "Apply"
