@cogeco @cogeco After leaving my mom without a phone for a week, you missed your appointments again. Oh well I think she’s going back to Bell as she’d like a service that works.

Steve Hayman (@shayman) reported from Little Italy, Ontario
@TOBenfica Yeah I loved that service until Cogeco and TSN broke up in January. Frustrating. Cogeco is happy to let you get to the Sportsnet app but not the TSN one.

@cogecohelps @cogeco Thanks - a little late for the response. And why a separate Twitter account? It should be coming from Cogeco. And why no explanation....no transparency on service and you didn’t even answer your phone or at least have a recorded message on what is going on?

@cogeco Using a wireless modem with a high-end wireless router - signal is sub-par. Should I use a wired modem in bridge mode instead? How can I swap?

@FlamReview I do know that the Cogeco DNS was down yesterday morning. Using an alternate DNS provider was a quick workaround.

@cogeco @cogecohelps No internet, website says no outages and not one phone number works for you, just disconnects no matter which service you choose. Would be nice to find out whats going on and how its going to be fixed.

@netwonk @startca Cogeco had significant issues yesterday, alt DNS was a partial fix. I've heard rumblings that there may be some persisting issues today as well. I'm Start / Cogeco but using alt DNS. Network fairly stable so far today.

Bob McArthur (@JustBob1965) reported
@Tedbits @cogeco The interim fix was to just change your DNS address on your router say google or another 8.8.8.8
-
SitecoreChris (@SitecoreChris) reported
@cogecohelps @cogeco You should be setting the secondary dns for all customers and systems to 8.8.8.8 then if your dns goes down you have an alternative one then it would not go down like this. That is what I did to get back up and running within 20 minutes after I found out it was a dns issue
