@cogecohelps Hi Sandra, If u could please DM me w/ the best # to call. I was able to connect Cogeco, the problem was half addressed. W/ a Technician coming in on Thurs; when in this case is late&very urgent. I shouldn't be spending 3+ hours on my day off considering I'm an RN in a busy ICU.

@cogeco Just spent 1 hour trying to get ahold of Technical Support. When connected he was not able to locate the Account Info for 30 mins. Provided every Personal Info and Modem Info, only to be hung up on. Absolutely disgusting and beyond unprofessional !!!!

@cogeco it amazes me that you can get through to sales within seconds but end up on hold to cancel one of three services. Your website for self serve Epico premium internet has been down for days. It seems easier to switch to @Bell?

@cogecohelps ever since we switched to cogeco we get the best intermittent service that just disconnects completely for no reason. It's super. Love it.

There is a reported internet issue along Steeles Avenue. Cogeco says it could last up to two hours as the technician works to solve the problem.

@cogeco Thatโs good advice but not everyone has a Smart TV. Itโs a backward way to go about it. Much better if Cogeco fixes the problem at its source.

@cogecohelps At least you have a tv with working cable to watch the Leaf game! My HD channels including on demand stopped working last Thursday night. After a VERY long weekend a tech arrived and was able to fix problem , now ANOTHER 5 business days! Hating cogeco!

๐งต4/6 Cogeco initially refused to send another technician. After significant escalation through OXIO, they finally agreed to another visitโonly to cancel it three days later, claiming there were โarea-wide issues.โ These are unrelated to my problem, which continues unabated.

๐งต5/6 This is what passes for support when there is no meaningful competition. My only alternative locally is Bellโs DSL at 50โฏMbps, compared to my current 1000โฏMbps serviceโan unacceptable downgrade. All other ISPs in the area rely on Cogecoโs infrastructure.

๐งต2/6 My internet service was stable for years. The problems began immediately after Cogecoโs technician installed service for my neighbour, who is also with OXIO. Since then, I have experienced constant outagesโeach requiring a manual modem reboot to restore connectivity.

@cogecohelps Thank you! I did get through eventually & spoke to Amy at Retention. A question though - in every customer focused industry, loyalty is rewarded. But at COGECO , i end up paying higher charges every year. And the explanation given is that I had a promo rate! Why?

@cogecohelps whatโs the status update on COGECO service in Bracebridge. Itโs been out all day. Why did the Cogeco outage website attribute the service outage to a local power outage when the was no such power outage occurring?

@cogeco and @cogecohelps. Long-time customer with no real issues. However, the switch to a new modem last week has been nothing short of a disaster. 3 technicians out to correct connection issues, and still the issue persists. Tech support have been zero help whatsoever. ๐
