They offered an IPhone XR for zero down. $10 a month for 2 years for the phone and $55 a month for the Promo Freedom plan which is 6GB plus 4B at no additional charge. That promo is locked in for 2 years. They lose $550 on the phone.

In December 2017 @TELUS and other major Cell companies matched the @FreedomMobile #10GB plans. 14 months pass they raise the fee $10. Telcos have been charging it to exploit customers further, although the plans pricing is still high compared to rest of the world but thanks for @FreedomMobile, at least now overall service providers charge less than what they used to few years ago
