  • ChrisStinson Chris Stinson (@ChrisStinson) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@Rogers @RogersHelps... You have exactly 4 hours to get my service up. If I have to go somewhere to watch the gold medal game you have lost a longtime customer.

  • ChrisStinson Chris Stinson (@ChrisStinson) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps why is your service going up and down all day in Strathroy, Ontario.? When will it be fixed?

  • midtownexpress Dan (@midtownexpress) reported from Southwest Middlesex, Ontario

@RogersHelps I hate complaining to u guys all the time but your chat feature is terrible. They refuse to help. Can we talk thru twitter when u have a moment.

  • ChrisStinson Chris Stinson (@ChrisStinson) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps and no support online... Terrible service... Ridiculous

  • ChrisStinson Chris Stinson (@ChrisStinson) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@Rogers @RogersHelps I guess all the apologizing from the last huge outage was just lip service ehh Rogers? Internet out all day here, small business can do no business. Thanks... #timetoswitchtobell

  • robert_gros Robert Gros (@robert_gros) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps I’m having no ignite internet, TV or home phone in Strathroy. Can you confirm if there is a #rogers #outage in the area? Is Rogers #down?

  • mikechabot416 Mike Chabot (@mikechabot416) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps cancelled my SMH on March 5; nearly 2 months later, there’s still an open case to close my service. How does it take 2 months to cancel a service?! Zero accountability from any Rogers agent throughout the process. Cancelling all services with Rogers.

  • davecam3 Dave Cameron (@davecam3) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps I also live in Strathroy and have no internet access. Any time estimate on when service may be restored?

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Mike_88_12 Mike (@Mike_88_12) reported

@RogersHelps all services except cellular still down in Woodbridge (L4L)? Any estimated ETA?

  • Tirnanogh James Wilson (@Tirnanogh) reported

@RogersHelps Thanks, I guess. But that literally says nothing other than “We have problems in Southern Ontario and have no idea when they’ll be fixed”

  • masisso masisso (@masisso) reported

@RogersHelps Internet service in Whitby is still down. Any update or explanation of the severity? Transparency goes a long way.

  • angellz angellz 🇨🇦 (@angellz) reported

Also @RogersHelps - stating there are issues in “Southern Ontario” without actually letting us know what areas are affected is bullshit. I’d also like to know why my area is affected today when it was fine yesterday?

  • yayvey 🏃🏻💨👰🏻 (@yayvey) reported

@polarsmurfs @soydelsol68 @Rogers my biggest gripe was their lack of transparency. i was under the impression for the first 3 days that my network was compromised. i had to dig deep into twitter/ontario blogs to find ANY word of this online. they’re only doing damage control.

  • RussBirnie Russ BIRNIE (@RussBirnie) reported

@rogers one thing that has become apperant from this outage is how upset everyone is with all internet providers. No competition shows that they cannot provide: contingency, solid customer support, reasonable pricing and many other reasons. CRTC step in...make some change!

  • slaubstein stuart laubstein (@slaubstein) reported

@RogersHelps when will service be back in ottawa, no internet phone or tv for a day now

  • SekhonRippy Rippy Sekhon (@SekhonRippy) reported

@RogersHelps Internet down for area L7A1Z1 for past three days. When are you fixing it?

  • Kaya41801715 Kaya (@Kaya41801715) reported

@RogersHelps Hi, check your DM and confirm that you’ve received my message. I cannot report the outage on MyRogers without dealing with your automated assistant Anna. There is a 2 hr wait time to speak to a rep on the phone. What is ETR? How are you not providing updates on twitter?

  • ColinofMacLeod Colin MacLeod (@ColinofMacLeod) reported

@RogersHelps I get it, there's outages everywhere and it's a stat holiday. Probably not getting internet back today. Still think you guys could be doing more to notify people when there's an outage in their area and what the timeline is... your forums are useless and contain no helpful info.
