Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Richard McIntosh (@802Tophat) reportedI’m wondering if a commit confirm would have been enough to prevent this outage @Rogers. Assuming it was an automation script that broke some stuff. Hopefully we’ll see a proper RFO.
-
STOP (@My_opinions74) reported@ElmDrawsStuff @RogersHelps How about a month's credit worth instead of $1.60? No service has caused much more losses for some people who own businesses, no debit.
-
Justin (@JustinSmith_13) reported@RogersHelps This outage exploited a major problem in Canada and how this **** company has a monopoly over Canada
-
Amy Hrynchuk (@ahrynchuk) reported@AboutRogers @RogersHelps I would like to know how you are going to credit or compensate us non Roger’s customers for this outage. We were also effected by this outage. If our banking was down and have no credit-cards we were also up a certain creek without a paddle.
-
Evie **** (@francis_raptors) reported@RogersHelps I was on the phone with customer retention, seeing what they can do with renewing me as I’m looking at options. They said they will give two days lol slap in face. I guess I’ll be speaking with bell since they don’t appreciate my business @star @cp24

Gary Bet Man (@GimmeUnits) reported@RogersHelps This so damn bad they straight up lying!
-
Jason (@jasonbshew) reported@RogersHelps @Rogers How vast is your vast? Home Internet is still down over here. It’s such a shame you should have a real slow emergency response and no backup plans for failed services. E.P.I.C N.A.T.I.O.N.W.I.D.E F.I.A.S.C.O

Carla MacKay (@carla_mackay) reported@RogersHelps 10:55am on July 9th in Rural NS… still no service. Guessing “vast majority” means Ontario
-
Jonathan (@JonathanJaitly) reported@RogersHelps This is a great reason to switch to Bell or Telus. Rogers infrastructure is horrible in terms of reliability, management and commitment to quality. What is this, the third time in 5 years Rogers has had a major outage? Telus and Bell at 0 in the same time frame.

The Ghost of Juergen (@GhostOf_J) reported@RealAndyLeeShow @RogersHelps Well, if you were a lowly paid support person in the Philippines, and your take home pay was based on how many calls you could handle in a day, wouldn't you give people the same answer? It's all about volume. Helpful advice is completely optional.
