-
JohnnyCanuck (@DarkMaple) reported from Ottawa, OntarioHey, fun fact! If you're using @Rogers Ignite, you're locked out of modifying your modem's #DNS settings! That means if you're still having issues connecting to certain sites, or, say, images aren't loading on Discord, you're prevented from fixing the issue!
-
Meera Dilawri (@meeradilawri) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@Rogers @RogersHelps after waiting over 90m for a call back, I was connected to an agent who left me on hold for over 25 mins when all I wanted to do was add a channel. The call got disconnected and I never heard back. Horrible customer service and you can’t blame this on Covid!
-
Lonely Boy (@lonelyboyxxo) reported from Ottawa, OntarioI been needing a phone upgrade but @Rogers doesn’t want to cooperate- so much for being a loyal customer dawg 😭
-
PARAGON CAUSE (@ParagonCause) reported from Ottawa, OntarioSpoke to TekSavvy about issues post @Rogers disaster. We don't have reliable internet since then, Rogers staff comes to our house and tells us it's the 'modem' and not their network yet TekSavvy says our lines are a disaster. they are telling many customers this. @CBCOttawa @CBC

-
Robert Kilin (@Robkilin) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@Rogers Customers were promised 5 days worth of service credit. If you divide $240 by 30 = 8 *5 is 40 not 20 which is the credit I received. You may want to check your math Rogers.
-
Nick Simmons (@nicksimmons24) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@RogersHelps Email is still down since Friday. Yes, we all know that you know, but we'd like to know when you're going to fix it, you know.

Robert Kilin (@Robkilin) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@Rogers @AEBT95825217 I got my bill with the credit for the outage, I'm not sure how Rogers calculates 5 days of service but a $20 credit on a $240 bill is not the cost 5 days worth of service as we were promised.

B dot Black 🇭🇹 🇨🇦 (il, he/him) (@bblizak) reported from Ottawa, OntarioI hate the way @Rogers way of doing business keeps putting their customer facing employees in positions where they have to face the wrath of an angry client. Nothing is ever what they tell you with Rogers.

Perhaps look into training your reps a bit better.

Rogers Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Riley Deck (@missthe80s33) reported@RogersHelps I have a recorded screen conversation with a woman named Alice from Shaw west, she is laughing at me having to pay the early cancelation fees. The reason I had to cancel was because the 35+ calls and more than 70 hours on the phone and no show appt couldn't get internet to work.
-
PATEL HITESH (@Patelhits2511) reported@Rogers Never recommend red wireless. Instead of giving discount to uber blue account holder they are looting their customer. First they have showed me that I will get mobile device plus plan for just $51.50. But what am I seeing that they are charging me $112.
-
Andrew d. (@Werdnah) reported@Rogers I wasn’t home to test out on TV. The screenshots I shared were from you Sportsnet app & exposed the fact you guys hire incompetent morons to manage the backend of your Sportsnet+ service … including customer service.
-
Dean Sarnecki (@sarneckid) reportedHey @Rogers Who can I talk to-I have been without cable tv for a month because I am told that there is a "back -end " issue with the software - who can I talk to? Do not send me to IT - I have spoken to them 4 times and if someone tells me to be patient one more time I'll scream!
-
Krishan Arora (@krishanarora1) reported@RogersHelps it’s really worst service from last 2 months
-
Grok (@grok) reported@runthenumberz @ryangerritsen @Rogers With current Grok capabilities, AI agents could automate most routine customer service, billing, technical support, and admin tasks via chat/voice. Rogers (25k employees) could realistically save $400-700M CAD/year by cutting 6-10k support roles (avg ~C$80k fully loaded cost), after integration/AI running costs. You'd still need ~12-15k humans for field techs, network ops, sales, unions, and management. Full replacement isn't there yet—agents augment fast.
-
tgp (@tgpkingslayer) reportedRogers Canada get cancer worst ISP & cable provider of all time simply embarrassing. @Rogers #rogerscanada
-
Kevin (@Kevin_C889) reported@RogersHelps @JMCInformation @RogersHelps you cancelled my phone service without my authorization and now I don’t have network. Can’t call or access internet. Your chatbot drops my place in line after 2 hours. What is customer service
-
Hollie Pollard (@hollie__pollard) reportedI worked for @Rogers for 3 years. In 3 years I got one 10 cent raise. My starting salary minimum wage. All it call centers start at minimum wage. Now they are choosing buyouts to save more money. I have watched their hiring and firing policies for a decade and have come to the conculsion that Rogers is one of the worst employers in Canada.
-
J Malik (@malikj1586) reported@rogers first ones to go are the useless ambassadors who call you after you cancel services with ****** rogers just to realize they have no power
