Rogers Issues Reports Near Oak Bay, British Columbia

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Oak Bay and nearby locations:

  • connoredwards Connor Edwards (@connoredwards) reported from Oak Bay, British Columbia

Why @Rogers would stop support for its remote DVR app is beyond me. I suspect they assume one will upgrade to their new IPTV service for this single feature. Stupid product decisions like these usually work against them.

  • troymore Troy More (@troymore) reported from Saanich, British Columbia

@RogersHelps when trying to watch NHL Live the TSN3 feed is constantly buffering. None of the other feeds have this problem.

  • tm96 tracy martell (@tm96) reported from Oak Bay, British Columbia

Am I the only one in greater #YYJ experiencing GARBAGE wifi from #ShawCable and TERRIBLE data access from @RogersHelps — I haven’t seen LTE on my phone in eons. It’s all sluggish 3G. #FirstWorldProblems but #ComeOn! Pull yourselves together— we pay too much for this subpar svc.

  • brandonscript Brandon Rylow (@brandonscript) reported from Saanich, British Columbia

Rest assured that when the class action suit starts up, I’ll be right there, asking for easily $1,000 in money I paid to @RogersHelps for services that were never used, that they turned around and gave to their CEO. I’m so very done being a customer.

  • rikiepennings1 rikie pennings (@rikiepennings1) reported

@Scarfotdhs @Rogers @RogersHelps I am pretty much back to service. I'm out walking so I don't know if television sound fades in and out still (since 5:15 am)

  • Frankenstein68 Kevin 🇨🇦 (@Frankenstein68) reported

@RogersHelps Although I have service now, both the internet and my cable are slow and glitchy. Is this a result of the outage and when can I expect full service to be back up?

  • jamccaughran jim mccaughran (@jamccaughran) reported

@RogersHelps Wireless service has returned. However, still no home internet or ignite television. Having to tether my phone to get some work done that was missed yesterday isn’t great. Especially with the file sizes I need to move.

  • clgurevitz Cory Gurevitz (@clgurevitz) reported

@RogersHelps Service is working but Rogers Ignite is still not working well. Keeps freezing. How many times do you need to reset my ignite boxes or my modem?

  • Doxtater93 Bret,Doxtater (@Doxtater93) reported

@RogersHelps You guys are ****** terrible. Not the first time you ***** pulled some sketchy bs with service. #TeamBell

  • cambrian5150 Cambrian (@cambrian5150) reported

@RogersHelps How are you going to credit non Rogers customers who also had their lives on hold due to banks, stores, etc all not able to accept our debit cards? You proved once again how this country is in bad need of competition. Enough with you idiots having a monopoly on it all.

  • jmthibs Jean-Marc Thibodeau (@jmthibs) reported

After yesterday's @Rogers outage I think a lot of risk managers will be rethinking their strategies and dependance on internet. We've gone so digital we have left traditional backup measures behind. #riskmanagement

  • Xilicia Xilicia Sarrasri (@Xilicia) reported

@downtownTOc @RogersHelps 100% a scam. A Rogers credit is never something you need to claim

  • MARKSY22 MARKSY (@MARKSY22) reported

@RogersHelps Those of you bitching can easily fix this ..... get out your books and tablets then load the paper into you type writers and make sure you have envelopes ready , keep your home rotary phone beside you because they always work in case someone’s tries to call you ..then take a nap.

  • Plate_Nerd 11:11 (@Plate_Nerd) reported

@RogersHelps My area still has dreadfully slow or non-existent internet, even after multiple and lengthy reboots. Assuming I'm not in the vast majority
