@RogersHelps I also live in Strathroy and have no internet access. Any time estimate on when service may be restored?

  • robert_gros Robert Gros (@robert_gros) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps I’m having no ignite internet, TV or home phone in Strathroy. Can you confirm if there is a #rogers #outage in the area? Is Rogers #down?

  • midwifek Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

@RogersHelps Unless you do something about your truly shittastic rural internet, **** off. I'm trapped into using you because Bell doesn't serve me at all. I pay $500/month for your ******* crappy service and all you ever say is "sorry". **** off. I lost a day's work thanks to you.

  • KeepemReal Keep em Real (@KeepemReal) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

    @AntiBlackRacis1 @Sflecce @Apple @Rogers @RogersBiz Lol......it doesn't help those in rural areas that have capped data!

  • cedavidson Cait Davidson (@cedavidson) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

Hey @RogersHelps I just want you to know what a rockstar you have in your customer service reps, Esther especially but Cheyenne was also very helpful. If your customer service is always that good then you’ve got a customer for life.

  • KeepemReal Keep em Real (@KeepemReal) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

@fordnation, should I go out to find wifi for my kids to do school and for my work. You want us to stay home then get on @Rogers and @Bell ass! @fordnation and rural internet providers need to find a solution NOW! At least create a subside for us!

  • cedavidson Cait Davidson (@cedavidson) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

@oxysnice @Rogers If you do switch back to Bell make sure your last bill doesn’t have Rogers owing you money, you’ll never get it back. Three months and they still haven’t paid me what they owe me.

  • mikechabot416 Mike Chabot (@mikechabot416) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps cancelled my SMH on March 5; nearly 2 months later, there’s still an open case to close my service. How does it take 2 months to cancel a service?! Zero accountability from any Rogers agent throughout the process. Cancelling all services with Rogers.

  • midwifek Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

About the system. She looked stuff up. And she solved our problem at the root cause. I wanted to cry. I know she isn't paid enough and she is gold. If all @Rogers customer service people were like her, they wouldn't be loathed the way they are. Look to her as a model!

  • KeepemReal Keep em Real (@KeepemReal) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

@RogersHelps @YakmanHuntTV Can you at least give e an explanation to your #rockethub customers as to why you cannot allow uncapped data. Perhaps you wont be as bombarded with complaints if you advise that it would cripple the cellular network!

  • midwifek Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

Now that I can, I have this to say to @Rogers: **** you. ****. You. You crippled the country yesterday and you can't figure out why and you are no doubt shoring up the legal barricades against the coming storm of lawsuits. And yet you want to have everything, run everything 1/

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • KLRobbins01 Kelly (@KLRobbins01) reported

@RogersHelps @yankeefanbetta BS, My ignite Tv, it keeps freezing, going in and out and back on. You call this normal? 20 year Rogers customer here, if it doesn't get fixed, I will be taking my services elsewhere.

  • ChristyWasher Christy Washer (@ChristyWasher) reported

@RogersHelps There was no report or acknowledgement of this massive outage problem by anyone except your customers until almost 10 am, when you realized @TPSOperations tweet about 911 services made you need to fess up. I watched it all develop. Terrible corporate behaviour. I'm leaving you.

  • MurraySaul3 Murray Saul (@MurraySaul3) reported

@RogersHelps Still have no land line service and internet at home - now going on for third day. How can you say that you have restored service to most of your customers?

  • artificivl Tayl0r 👽 (@artificivl) reported

My wifi has been switching between working & not working literally every 5 minutes since it came back on this morning and I'm so ******* irritated. Genuinely mote frustrating than it being completely off. Wtf @Rogers

  • jezziebezzie Jacquie G - It’s ******, not YOUterus! (@jezziebezzie) reported

@AdamRoller4 @TorontoLonny @RogersHelps That I used to work for an answering service with Mrs. Olsen string switchboards & we answered emergency calls & got them out on paper with walkie talkies & pagers. Ideal? Hell no, but calls got out. It’s idiotic not to have a complete system failure back up plan in place in ‘22.

  • Paul_TO 🇺🇦 Paul Ferreira - #IStandWithUkraine (@Paul_TO) reported

@RogersHelps It sure seems like it is much more than a “limited number of customers” … and your reply does not tell me what is being done to address these constant “intermittent” issues. You should also note that auto-generated validation texts sent by third parties are not being received.

  • NicoleC954 Nicole Clarke (@NicoleC954) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps I do not have service. All four services are not working. When will this be rectified?UGGGH

  • downtownrob88 Robert Lee 🌃📝🎼 (@downtownrob88) reported

@_BrandonRussell @Rogers My Rogers TV in Toronto was on all day. My Virgin phone worked all day. Let's dial down these sweeping statements about how one company "captured" Canada yesterday.

  • PressHero_co PressHero.co (@PressHero_co) reported

@RogersHelps Yeah basic service is restored. I can stream and browse. But I can't upload files for business to a remote server. Service is NOT restored. Uploading timesout. Got an eta on this??

  • mgauthier223 Marie Gauthier (@mgauthier223) reported

@Elijah_Winter1 @vote4robgill @Rogers Not that I support crazy rates but most other countries have significantly larger populations, so they can afford to charge less and still have a good infrastructure.
