Robert Gros (@robert_gros) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario@RogersHelps I’m having no ignite internet, TV or home phone in Strathroy. Can you confirm if there is a #rogers #outage in the area? Is Rogers #down?
-
Keep em Real (@KeepemReal) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario@RogersHelps @YakmanHuntTV Can you at least give e an explanation to your #rockethub customers as to why you cannot allow uncapped data. Perhaps you wont be as bombarded with complaints if you advise that it would cripple the cellular network!
-
Cait Davidson (@cedavidson) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario@oxysnice @Rogers If you do switch back to Bell make sure your last bill doesn’t have Rogers owing you money, you’ll never get it back. Three months and they still haven’t paid me what they owe me.
-
Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario@RogersHelps Unless you do something about your truly shittastic rural internet, **** off. I'm trapped into using you because Bell doesn't serve me at all. I pay $500/month for your ******* crappy service and all you ever say is "sorry". **** off. I lost a day's work thanks to you.
-
Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, OntarioAbout the system. She looked stuff up. And she solved our problem at the root cause. I wanted to cry. I know she isn't paid enough and she is gold. If all @Rogers customer service people were like her, they wouldn't be loathed the way they are. Look to her as a model!
-
Mike Chabot (@mikechabot416) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario@RogersHelps cancelled my SMH on March 5; nearly 2 months later, there’s still an open case to close my service. How does it take 2 months to cancel a service?! Zero accountability from any Rogers agent throughout the process. Cancelling all services with Rogers.
-
Keep em Real (@KeepemReal) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario@AntiBlackRacis1 @Sflecce @Apple @Rogers @RogersBiz Lol......it doesn't help those in rural areas that have capped data!
-
Keep em Real (@KeepemReal) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario@fordnation, should I go out to find wifi for my kids to do school and for my work. You want us to stay home then get on @Rogers and @Bell ass! @fordnation and rural internet providers need to find a solution NOW! At least create a subside for us!
-
Chris Stinson (@ChrisStinson) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario@Rogers @RogersHelps I guess all the apologizing from the last huge outage was just lip service ehh Rogers? Internet out all day here, small business can do no business. Thanks... #timetoswitchtobell
-
Cait Davidson (@cedavidson) reported from Middlesex Centre, OntarioHey @RogersHelps I just want you to know what a rockstar you have in your customer service reps, Esther especially but Cheyenne was also very helpful. If your customer service is always that good then you’ve got a customer for life.
-
Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, OntarioNow that I can, I have this to say to @Rogers: **** you. ****. You. You crippled the country yesterday and you can't figure out why and you are no doubt shoring up the legal barricades against the coming storm of lawsuits. And yet you want to have everything, run everything 1/

Love My 7 Wood (@LoveMy7Wood) reportedIf you are considering (or have to due to equipment failure like me) switching from Ignite to Xfinity on @Rogers here are some things to be aware of that they do not tell you before, during or after the transition. First, a new account will be opened, independent of your previous account, and unless you call and close your previous account, you will be double billed. Second, nobody will ask you for your credit card and it won’t be transitioned from your old account so unless you go online and add it, in a month you will be getting nasty notices. Three, if you have streaming services like Crave that you buy through Rogers it will not be transferred to your new account automatically. You must call to get it added. Fourth, expect at least one of the Xfinity boxes not to work properly. I’ve done the transition now at my cottage and home and multiple service visits and equipment replacements may be necessary. Fifth, if you have Rogers/ Yahoo email or Finance accounts they don’t automatically transition and multiple phone calls may be necessary and it may take the knowledge of a supervisor to get them going again. And sixth, Rogers goes out of its way to make speaking to an actual human being virtually impossible and you have to fight with AI and may be lucky and get through to someone in a few minutes or, like me, you can waste hours and hours on hold. And finally, they are going to email you a survey on how they did. Don’t fill it in right away. Wait a few days to make sure things work and work as they should. Good luck!
