Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • pandersen Paul Andersen (@pandersen) reported

I’d be curious if my fellow NetNerds who follow also find it interesting the RFI never mentions whether @Rogers had any Out of Band (OOB) access to their routers. Having such access on third party or physical/logical separate facilities would be key one would think.

  • marsswrld Ju. (@marsswrld) reported

@Rogers is there a reason why i’ve had no cellular service, once again since 4am?

  • GarryMcKay5 Garry McKay (@GarryMcKay5) reported

Every day I get 2-8 emails claiming to be from Rogers. I ask @Rogers what I can do about them. Their crack technical team tells me 'don't open them." Wow, never thought of that. Of course now I can't see my monthly bill. So I wasn't terribly surprised when their system crashed.

  • CampbellCoal The House Super HiFi podcast (@CampbellCoal) reported

@RogersHelps this is the third cable outage this month.

  • Carol_fan82 T (@Carol_fan82) reported

@rogers Glad I’m leaving…today. Would think the credit would appear on this bill. Guess those that switched will just be un-comped. Not sticking around for spotty internet service for credit equivalent to a cup of coffee. Beyond disappointed throughout the years.

  • MILES_EXITSIGN Ryan Miles Leblanc (@MILES_EXITSIGN) reported

@Rogers How does telus have a call control option for spam and rogers doesn't? I'm with the "best" telecommunications provider and man it doesn't feel this way at all All of my suggestions to rogers have never been taken seriously

  • mreillyvp mmmmmeee (@mreillyvp) reported

had a good laugh when rogers told the crtc that only their employees with sim cards from competing companies were able to try to diagnose the outage. #ouch @Rogers

  • macgyver_p Macgyver P (@macgyver_p) reported

@CTVNews In other words @Rogers doesn't have a back up plan for the next blackout of their network in Canada. #rogersoutrage

  • masterofn001 🚫1 . . : (@masterofn001) reported

So, @Rogers says it was an 'update' that killed the network nationwide. And they are responsible for security updates on your phones. Even more reason to remove the carriers from their all too powerful role of controlling what software / bloatware / spyware you must use.

  • AllyArtyy Allyson Ar (@AllyArtyy) reported

@RogersHelps my internet is down for the third time in a week. Can you please confirm if there are ongoing issues in the markham area. Also will I receive an additional credit for this?
