Sheena Johnson (@sheenaleanne) reported from Red Deer, AlbertaReal talk guys. No hold backs. I’m sick to death of crappy Telus internet service downtown and on the east side of town. I’m considering the switch to Shaw. Gimme your thoughts. Lord knows I don’t need a 36 month commitment to another crap service.
-
John MD (@John1MD) reported from Red Deer, AlbertaIn other news, Telus today emailed its customers, asking them if they had problems with acne…and acne is caused by diet. So you should book a $60 dietician Telus phone call, and if you are still stressed at the end, Telus will bill AH to hear how you should use antibiotics. ..2

Patti Yackulic (@pmyackulic) reported from Red Deer, Alberta@BrittBaltimore @MattWolfAB @shandro @DShepYEG @BrittBaltimore the ethics commissioner's decision was made before the biosimilars debacle & @shandro tweeting support for Telus babylon.

Rorie Roberts (@RorieRoberts) reported from Blackfalds, Alberta@noahanicholls Check with Bell... I’d been with Telus over 20 years, and Bell’s offer, including new phone, was $35/month cheaper. They share the towers, so no change in service

-
Beverly McQuiston (@purplegirl017) reported from Red Deer, AlbertaI was told that I’d get a call back in 45 minutes and was over 1 1/2 hours. Our time is valuable too and it seems like customer service is not the same as when I initially joined @Shaw as that was the reason. Just really disappointed as Telus sucks but no other option.
-

R 8 T N (@ther8tnfiles) reported@rory_mg I'm on one of these plans right now and couldn't be happier. I'm with Public Mobile which runs on Telus/Bell network. I pay $20 a month (fixed price for the next 2 years btw) for 60 GB US/CAN/MEX. Its pretty neat, can't beat it.
-
Frank (@lastofthefranks) reportedTrying to move my Telus internet to a new apartment. Customer service quotes some absurd price. Mention I'm looking at their website and it says same service is $70/m for that location. "Thats for new customers". Telus charges more for being an existing customer?!?
-
Mortoshi (@HDergler) reported@wongkarwasian most Canadian service providers collude to increase the level of service beyond what the average consumer needs so that can charge upward of $100 a month for something that should be extremely basic telus wants like $110 a month for 500mbps internet for instance, but most people would still be ok with 100mbps or less I'm many cases

Chuck McKinnon (@chuckmckinnon) reported@JamesMac_Fit I scrapped my Telus router for Unifi gear. Created a separate WiFi network for the kids' devices, which shuts off a couple of hours before bedtime. Content filters at the router, not on devices. We collected their devices when the network dropped, and I read to them every night.
