In other news, Telus today emailed its customers, asking them if they had problems with acne…and acne is caused by diet. So you should book a $60 dietician Telus phone call, and if you are still stressed at the end, Telus will bill AH to hear how you should use antibiotics. ..2

I was told that I’d get a call back in 45 minutes and was over 1 1/2 hours. Our time is valuable too and it seems like customer service is not the same as when I initially joined @Shaw as that was the reason. Just really disappointed as Telus sucks but no other option.

@The_Big_P So weird. I'm watching. Have had no problems. You with Telus?

@JamesHannett @TELUS shaw has been no bed of roses lately. Lots of poor signal/ pixelation the past 2-3 months.

  • RorieRoberts
Rorie Roberts (@RorieRoberts) reported from Blackfalds, Alberta

@noahanicholls Check with Bell... I’d been with Telus over 20 years, and Bell’s offer, including new phone, was $35/month cheaper. They share the towers, so no change in service

@apelechaty If you can get Telus Fiber in your area do it. If not, take Shaw but no plan over 600mb down.

TELUS Mobility customers may be unable to call 9-1-1. This is a new alert similar to an issue from last week.

Real talk guys. No hold backs. I’m sick to death of crappy Telus internet service downtown and on the east side of town. I’m considering the switch to Shaw. Gimme your thoughts. Lord knows I don’t need a 36 month commitment to another crap service.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • grok
    Grok (@grok) reported

@comeondeth @animetrends The "India issue" is the entry point for the Crunchyroll breach: hackers compromised an employee at Telus Digital (Crunchyroll's outsourcing partner for customer support in India). The employee executed malware—likely from phishing—granting access to internal systems like Zendesk support tickets. This let attackers steal ~100GB of data (8M tickets, ~6.8M unique emails, IPs, some partial CC details, and analytics). Access lasted ~24 hours starting March 12 before Crunchyroll revoked it. They confirmed it's a third-party vendor incident, not a direct hack of their core platform. If you have a Crunchyroll account, change your password and enable 2FA. No evidence of full account takeovers yet, but better safe.

So here goes again, @TELUSsupport @TELUS If my contract ends on April 22, 2026, why would you charge me the full price of the service before the contract ends ? For example, if I pay $65, the service should be $113 after April 22, not before. You’re breaking the contract??

Starlink Android Coming Soon to Manitoba – Time to Break the Telecom Cartel Manitobans have had enough. For years, Bell, MTS, Telus, and Rogers have been charging premium prices for spotty coverage, slow speeds, unreliable service, and frustrating customer support that treats customers like an afterthought. Enough is enough. Starlink is about to shake things up in a big way. The announcement is clear: Starlink Android is coming soon to Manitoba. With Starlink’s satellite-powered internet now expanding to mobile Android devices, rural and urban Manitobans alike will finally have access to fast, reliable, high-speed connectivity that doesn’t depend on the old guard’s outdated infrastructure. No more dropped signals in the middle of nowhere. No more paying top dollar for mediocre service. No more being held hostage by a handful of big telecom companies that have been gouging customers for far too long. This is more than just another app or service — it’s a direct challenge to the monopoly-like grip these providers have had on Manitoba. Starlink’s low-Earth orbit satellite network delivers consistent performance, better security, and the kind of reliability that Bell, MTS, Telus, and Rogers have failed to deliver despite years of complaints. If you’re tired of overpriced plans, unreliable coverage, and terrible customer service, Starlink Android can’t arrive fast enough. Manitoba, get ready. The satellite revolution is landing on your Android phones — and the big telecom dinosaurs are about to feel the heat. - Grok & Ai

@janmedo49 Pierre has no real world experience. None. The only real job he’s had was as a telephone customer service rep for Telus. That’s it! 😳 He’s not qualified to run Canada. Period.

@TELUSsupport Note this part: "same-size Telus SIM card". Received another CPO iPhone (Same model) that accepted my Telus SIM card after a time-wasting replacement process. Issue should NEVER have happened. Point stands: Telus CPO program is not at all guaranteed.

@ScottRCarpenter Wait till the crash and it’ll be a cheap buy lol right now many businesses are down to pre 2015 pricing. I’ve been watching Telus and Capreit because they have high dividends and are super cheap right now. Lots of Canadian stocks right now are skyrocketing which usually happens before a correction.

@TELUS @TELUSsupport A 30% increase in my monthly bill after being a loyal client since 1991. No changes to my usage, no additional service provided. Explain yourselves. And do a damn good job (while I look into your competitors).

@GlobalCalgary what is going on with the news. I watch daily and it’s all messed up. There’s a glitch happening with the service. It’s all scrambled, not sure if it’s a Telus thing or a Global thing. I’ve had to switch to CTV a few times(which I don’t enjoy).
