In other news, Telus today emailed its customers, asking them if they had problems with acne…and acne is caused by diet. So you should book a $60 dietician Telus phone call, and if you are still stressed at the end, Telus will bill AH to hear how you should use antibiotics. ..2

@noahanicholls Check with Bell... I’d been with Telus over 20 years, and Bell’s offer, including new phone, was $35/month cheaper. They share the towers, so no change in service

  • caribouwho
Andrew Poole (@caribouwho) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

@JamesHannett @TELUS shaw has been no bed of roses lately. Lots of poor signal/ pixelation the past 2-3 months.

@apelechaty If you can get Telus Fiber in your area do it. If not, take Shaw but no plan over 600mb down.

  • sheenaleanne

Real talk guys. No hold backs. I’m sick to death of crappy Telus internet service downtown and on the east side of town. I’m considering the switch to Shaw. Gimme your thoughts. Lord knows I don’t need a 36 month commitment to another crap service.

@BrittBaltimore @MattWolfAB @shandro @DShepYEG @BrittBaltimore the ethics commissioner's decision was made before the biosimilars debacle & @shandro tweeting support for Telus babylon.

  • 1067TheDrive
106.7 The Drive (@1067TheDrive) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

TELUS Mobility customers may be unable to call 9-1-1. This is a new alert similar to an issue from last week.

@TheJenRollins My bf had the exact same problem with Telus and the exact same solution. He is very happy with his choice!

  • purplegirl017
Beverly McQuiston (@purplegirl017) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

I was told that I’d get a call back in 45 minutes and was over 1 1/2 hours. Our time is valuable too and it seems like customer service is not the same as when I initially joined @Shaw as that was the reason. Just really disappointed as Telus sucks but no other option.

  • spacanpanman
    Anp🅰️nman (@spacanpanman) reported

$ASTS: 🚨 TELUS CANADA HIGHLIGHTS THE COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT SIGNED W/ AST SPACEMOBILE IN MARCH DURING ITS Q1 EARNINGS. TELUS ALSO MADE AN EQUITY INVESTMENT IN AST. "In March 2026, we signed a commercial agreement with AST SpaceMobile, Inc. to bring space-based direct-to-cellular service to places it has never reached before across Canada. Planned for late 2026, our customers will be able to send text messages, make voice calls and use data in Canada’s most remote locations using standard mobile devices. Subsequent to March 31, 2026, we made an equity investment in AST SpaceMobile.

@Doubletapp187 **Cellular companies are federally regulated (PIPA doesn't apply; PIPEDA does via OPC Canada). They serve many Alberta customers.** Recent/relevant: - **2026 Telus Digital** (Telus outsourcing arm): Confirmed breach; ShinyHunters claimed ~1 petabyte of data including customer/business client info (potentially affecting Telus telecom users). - **2026 Rogers/Fido**: Alleged breach; 10.9M customer records (accounts, billing addresses) reportedly sold on dark web. - **Bell Canada**: 2017 (~1.9M customer emails/phone numbers); 2018 (100k); 2024 (2.2M data leak). Older incidents exist too. Full details via OPC Canada reports. If notified, monitor accounts/credit. OIPC Alberta site won't list these.

@telus getting worse and worse. Impossible to reach a customer rsp. Only want to direct me to my text, do it myself. I need their help and can’t reach them.

  • Whatever66102
    #BoliKurac Whatever66 (@Whatever66102) reported

@sarkonakj Problem is competition.... Allow the American teleco to come up and all of it would be cleaned up. Right now, Telus, Bell and Rogers do not have to compete. No options for consumers. So they screw the consumers. Not one customer wants to talk to CS in India. Make them compete

  • JerryLambe75755
    Jerry Lambert 🍏 🍏 🍏 (@JerryLambe75755) reported

@TELUSsupport It’s great to see Telus results continue to decline. Customer service is awful. Waiting hours to speak to a human …. not giving loyal customers the same offers as new customers …. watching woke commercials to social engineer people …. I’ll NEVER come back.

  • ireney33
    Ireney (@ireney33) reported

@KirkLubimov I complained to Telus about an aggressive customer service agent in India and I got a call from the manager who said to me, yes we are trying to move customer service back to Canada. So this must be their answer. Idiots. So all my personal info sits in India.

  • StickersRIP

@gah_briel37 @AdegbemboB If you're in canada or US.. just send a DM would help out. And gwt telus too signed up and would cover the exams and assessments.

@ShaneWenzel Nenshi should be notified so he can complain louder about the “biggest data breach in Canadian history”. So we now have CRA, Telus,Rogers/Fido, Loblaws and the RCMP firearms owners data breaches, yet the media only covers the Alberta issue
