Real talk guys. No hold backs. I’m sick to death of crappy Telus internet service downtown and on the east side of town. I’m considering the switch to Shaw. Gimme your thoughts. Lord knows I don’t need a 36 month commitment to another crap service.

I was told that I’d get a call back in 45 minutes and was over 1 1/2 hours. Our time is valuable too and it seems like customer service is not the same as when I initially joined @Shaw as that was the reason. Just really disappointed as Telus sucks but no other option.

@noahanicholls Check with Bell... I’d been with Telus over 20 years, and Bell’s offer, including new phone, was $35/month cheaper. They share the towers, so no change in service

@TELUSsupport But I'm being told that you've blocked our devices. All your subscribers devices are non Telus devices as you don't rent them out. With BYOD you can't ethically restrict our access to the service and you staff need better training when we choose to sign BYOD deals. Shame.

@ericpet What are you using for wifi - their router? We have a Telus Boost system (4 nodes) and it is amazing. Our neighbours’ Shaw went down and they “borrowed” our wifi for a couple of days and were getting 160 Mbps at their place.

@ColeenBoxell @TELUSsupport We dropped Telus when in Somerset. Had them there ten times. They told us our house had to be built over metal. WiFi never worked passed dial up speed. Switched to another company and had no problems. That was six years ago.

And speaking of @TELUS, I filed a complaint with the CRTC last month and Telus lied and said the issue was resolved? What ******** Telus!? Telling me that email has been a **** show since migrating to Google means "resolved" the issue - WRONG! Liars! Email is still not working.
