Telus Issues Reports Near Blackfalds, Alberta

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Blackfalds and nearby locations:

  • purplegirl017 Beverly McQuiston (@purplegirl017) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

I was told that I’d get a call back in 45 minutes and was over 1 1/2 hours. Our time is valuable too and it seems like customer service is not the same as when I initially joined @Shaw as that was the reason. Just really disappointed as Telus sucks but no other option.

  • sheenaleanne Sheena Johnson (@sheenaleanne) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

Real talk guys. No hold backs. I’m sick to death of crappy Telus internet service downtown and on the east side of town. I’m considering the switch to Shaw. Gimme your thoughts. Lord knows I don’t need a 36 month commitment to another crap service.

  • pmyackulic Patti Yackulic (@pmyackulic) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

@BrittBaltimore @MattWolfAB @shandro @DShepYEG @BrittBaltimore the ethics commissioner's decision was made before the biosimilars debacle & @shandro tweeting support for Telus babylon.

  • AdamRiz Adam Risling (@AdamRiz) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

@The_Big_P So weird. I'm watching. Have had no problems. You with Telus?

  • Comnmanreally C'mon Man Really? (@Comnmanreally) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

    @aWYNNING @TELUS Bad timing!

  • RorieRoberts Rorie Roberts (@RorieRoberts) reported from Blackfalds, Alberta

@noahanicholls Check with Bell... I’d been with Telus over 20 years, and Bell’s offer, including new phone, was $35/month cheaper. They share the towers, so no change in service

  • 1067TheDrive 106.7 The Drive (@1067TheDrive) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

TELUS Mobility customers may be unable to call 9-1-1. This is a new alert similar to an issue from last week.

  • twittem Edward McIntyre (@twittem) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

@apelechaty If you can get Telus Fiber in your area do it. If not, take Shaw but no plan over 600mb down.

  • caribouwho Andrew Poole (@caribouwho) reported from Red Deer, Alberta

@JamesHannett @TELUS shaw has been no bed of roses lately. Lots of poor signal/ pixelation the past 2-3 months.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Musaic2 Musaic2 (@Musaic2) reported

The #transcanada highway drive between #Manitoba and #Ontario already has spotty cell service. Neither @Bell @Rogers nor @TELUS have announced news to upgrade, only plans to eliminate service.

  • vivian_rivian William G (@vivian_rivian) reported

@TELUSsupport @TELUS It’s going on day 5 now and STILL NO ADT PULSE APP ACCESS! Please fix, contact customers, acknowledge there’s an issue, DO SOMETHING

  • faria_wong Steven (@faria_wong) reported

Telus Canada - ADT pulse is not working. Last time this occurred one of their analyst coded something incorrectly. 5 days and still no fix. Telus Customer Service is truly the worse. Don’t rely on Telus for home security.

  • oliviahlho Olivia Ho (@oliviahlho) reported

Why the heck is a call back number from @TELUS @TELUSsupport showing “No Caller ID” … if I wasn’t expecting a call from Telus I wouldn’t normally answer this! This is when you know you outsourced your call center 🙄 wtf 🤬

  • Sidular Sidular! (@Sidular) reported

@ThorneDoesStuff @FreedomMobile That’s pretty expensive… just switched away from Freedom and pay $85 for 50GB at 5G speeds on Telus. Bigger network, but less expensive, but still expensive, cause ya know, “Canada”.

  • cheeks_hfx BassCoder (@cheeks_hfx) reported

@mattdagley so depending where you or your family works, check out Telus EPP....just need a work email to switch. Generally 30% cheaper than normal Telus. If it doesn't work for yours, try your partner's etc.

  • accordingtomio M. (@accordingtomio) reported

@MsBehavior @Bell_MTSHelps I am glad they sold my account to Telus. Haven't had any issues with them, so far, in the last five years. MTS was legit the worst.

  • vivian_rivian William G (@vivian_rivian) reported

@TELUSsupport @TELUS What’s going on with the ADT Pulse app? We’re away and unable to access our home security to check cameras etc. It’s been 4-5 days, no contact from TELUS acknowledging there’s an issue, are you fixing this, what’s going on!?

  • safety1222 Safety First (@safety1222) reported

.@PublicMobile is organized fraud. Charging people money without a sim card and nobody available to speak with. @TELUS is behind it all. Trying to save money by having no customer support. Dont tell me to open a ticket.

  • nathanelson Nathan Elson (@nathanelson) reported

Hey @telus can you explain to me how 2 months ago I called to add a 3rd cell phone line and you gave me a 'loyalty plan' because I've been a customer for 15 years and then today email me to tell me you're increasing my rate plan because it's deemed 'below market value'?
