@kelly_t_mac @Xplornet Go with the Telus hub. The only thing worse than Explorenet's speeds is their "support". Never again

  • SighmanCanada
Simon (@SighmanCanada) reported from Okotoks, Alberta

@Shawhelp you guys need to get your support, apps and chat features fixed. 2 hours on chat and it just closed... The app crashed. No answer or anyone that seems to be able to help or fix an issue I've had for 5 weeks. Fed up and grumpy....@TELUS wanna buy out my contract?

  • ArsenaultKeith
Keith arsenault (@ArsenaultKeith) reported from Municipal District of Foothills No. 31, Alberta

@shvonneshepherd @TELUSsupport We have a Telus hub thatโ€™s not working right now and my Internet is barely working on my phone via LTE

  • communik8e
Katie ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐ŸŒธ (@communik8e) reported from Municipal District of Foothills No. 31, Alberta

@bertbakarac @TELUS Itโ€™s pretty bad. We can occasionally stream a movie but not without it buffering 400x. Absolutely infuriating.

  • CoryBMorgan
Cory Morgan (@CoryBMorgan) reported from Municipal District of Foothills No. 31, Alberta

@1999roots @SheilaGunnReid @DeanLeask Depends on how badly you want reliable service I guess. No other options here but Telus hub and Explorenet which are both terrible

  • communik8e
Katie ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐ŸŒธ (@communik8e) reported from Municipal District of Foothills No. 31, Alberta

@jizzard56 @TELUS Yes, weโ€™ve had it before. It was terrible, too. But apparently @Xplornet has improved its services. We just called them. We have had it with Telus!!!

@tokifyi Early stage capital funding seems low, same with safety. But efforts like what Telus is doing is encouraging Weโ€™re still behind the 8ball but given the spend elsewhere itโ€™s unclear that is a big enough problem Thoughts?

  • Maximum__YT
    Maximum YT (@Maximum__YT) reported

@status_is_down This seems like a Canada wide issue, cloudflare and telus is down.

  • Kanadagirl
    Kanadagirl (@Kanadagirl) reported

@yegwave @nejsnave Damn that carney. Itโ€™s gotta be his fault. Now how is Telus and Rogers supposed to rake in huge profits?

  • onlyafewcows
    NeverTrustPoliticians (@onlyafewcows) reported

@VPPSunshine (S)โ€ฆ.. real competition would be better. I consider Telus to be closer to mafia than an actual service provider.

@espressoimpala Yeah I use Telus from alberta and mine is down :(

  • BStoneBrief
    Brett Stone (@BStoneBrief) reported

@CanadianPro2 @MarkJCarney You can use untreated groundwater. It might contain materials that could corrode the pipes though, and if it spills anywhere near the components it ruins them. And we are using the district heating model in downtown Vancouver, that's how they're doing the Telus building. I'm working on a pseudo-clone of the French model, but I've never actually seen how it works just the end result so building toward a network of nodes using a similar end result. The reason the latter one isn't done is probably a combination of trust of tenants having access to expensive equipment, and decentralized wouldn't be quite as fast as data centres, but I quite like the French model

@dguo94 Donโ€™t worry Iโ€™ve voiced my complaints to Telus support numerous times over the years Iโ€™ve been moved out

  • lucidbull69
    Lucid Bull (@lucidbull69) reported

@TELUS youโ€™re such a joke of a company. Been trying to cancel my home services for a week. Waiting everyday for a call back. Maybe stop ******* using stupid Hindu employees and make things work properly. How is this even a thing you donโ€™t call people back??

  • MAAWLAW
    Mark Warner (@MAAWLAW) reported

@TELUS "... @Telus says its SIM charge 'is not an administrative fee. A SIM card or an eSIM has always been a physical or digital product for purchase, rather than an administrative fee' [and] is meant to cover 'real costs' associated with providing a new SIM product to a customer..."๐Ÿค”
