2/2 even though it was $0.00 that is what companies like Bell & TELUS etc usually charge on the credit card at first to see if it is valid always check everything daily through online banking - it is good I caught it - but sucks now b/c I have to change all my automatic payments

  • jmwensley Matthew (@jmwensley) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Hey @TELUS did you know that vehicles are to move to the right and stop to allow emergency vehicles to pass?

  • ttctaker Carol Brooks (@ttctaker) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@gordperks People are waiting hours to talk to a human being! Most seniors are not computer savvy and or english isn't their first language. Telus is going to fix this?? I think not...press 1 if you think this sucks. Press 2 to get to 1.

  • queensantos1984 🖤Rachel Santos🖤 (@queensantos1984) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUSsupport is there an issue because I can't receive texts from boyfriend who Is with Rogers. His best friend is with telus and they can text no problem. This is annoying.

  • rishabh_snh Rishabh Sinha (@rishabh_snh) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUSsupport @TELUS I have been trying to upgrade my phone since 4 days. You automated prices shows 153+taxes for iPhone 11 Pro. I won’t pay that. There’s a technical issue with your chat box. I need a new phone in the next 3days. Help me out if you can.

20200605: National Post : As Ottawa dithers, Canada's major cellular providers shun Huawei ["Telus has not backed out of its February announcement that it would be incorporating Huawei tech into its 5G network likely because it would need to interface with its existing… network"

  • shurmanator ℙ𝕖𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕊𝕙𝕦𝕣𝕞𝕒𝕟 (@shurmanator) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@georganneb @char_lawyer @Bell @Rogers @TELUS Georganne, nobody dislikes those guys more than me but the systems were not designed for this. Same for internet. It’s like a water pipe to service an apartment complex is a foot in diameter but not if everybody is always home and taking showers simultaneously. Get used to it.

  • queerthoughts Rick Barnes (@queerthoughts) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Qualifyfor @johndotbastable The questions asked here by this source are legit. Ask why #WeCharity is not addressing these issues. Also note this org is heavily reliant on corporate sponsorships. They've lost Telus, G&M, and Virgin in the last few days. They need to be more forthcoming.

  • sheldonbk Sheldon Kerzner (@sheldonbk) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Ani1u7 @TELUSsupport For sure Telus is wrong.. Turning off Wi-Fi turns the feature off because it's something that has to be supported by the cellular network. I don't know what OS he was running. He's our IT consultant so he may be on a beta or something

  • Rajendra Rajendra Singh (@Rajendra) reported from Ajax, Ontario

Switched my cellphone service from @TELUS to @Rogers because Rogers gave me a deal and Telus couldn't.

  • BoomDiggyBang Rich Gomes (@BoomDiggyBang) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUS 2007-2019 "No problem we can certainly collapse any calls or texts to the US you made a few hours prior to entering the US and adding the $7 package. 2020 "Hi Rich! Why don't you go kill yourself! Up yours!!" #telusyouvechanged

  • michaelnugent Michael Nugent (@michaelnugent) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Oh man, someone on Reddit just reminded me of when Telus used to have their MiKE network back in the early 2000s. I remember some of my friends back in high school had those cell phones that had a built-in walkie-talkie. They looked so convenient to have by buzzing your friends.

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@AlexanderDKB @peternowak 💯 percent agree. Telus admitted as much in their testimony- the competition isn’t in the RAN, it’s in the core. The network core and the functionality it provides is where an MVNO thrives or dies.

  • OtarineMusic otty (@OtarineMusic) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@lav_sunrise Yeah it seriously sucks. Even if you go third party (I’m with Teksavvy for internet) the service is still distributed by Rogers/Bell/Telus/Shaw.

  • jmwensley Matthew (@jmwensley) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Everyone needs to understand what a terrible decision this is @TELUS is putting profit ahead of national security. I hope customers leave. @jkenney

  • myonlinelifenow Lanrick Bennett Jr. (@myonlinelifenow) reported from Toronto, Ontario

    👇🏾#InThisTogether @RogersHelps @bell @TELUS Lets follow in @johnkrasinski and @ATT’s footsteps to support #HeathCareHeroes Adding @VancityReynolds because, well why not #COVID2019

  • loganryan44 RG for Life (@loganryan44) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I understand that companies sell information to third parties but come on @telus, no one has my son’s phone number that he should be getting texts to a local dentist we’ve never gone to asking us to return

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • DaiAtlus79 Sean Michelin (@DaiAtlus79) reported

@benheck we have 100mbps to even gigabit plus 4G HSPA+ in 95% of our service area, you also have a much larger amount of ISPs, we mainly have Bell, Rogers, & Telus, you have dozens, and no one wants to spend the money or work together, whereas Telus & Bell teamed up to upgrade the network

  • kurt_eh One of 2 (@kurt_eh) reported

Is @Shawhelp’s refusal to support Outlook any more just a clever strategy to make people want to move to @TELUS ?

  • AdamMcGale Adam McGale (@AdamMcGale) reported

@iDaveMac2020 @TELUS You're a bad person. My son will never walk. Rethink what you say.

  • halexhowell Heather (@halexhowell) reported

@TELUSsupport @telus - it's 1842 local time - I just tried calling customer support and was informed by the nice AI that they are now closed. The hours on your site say until 7pm local time. Is that a lie?

  • espresso_snob espressosnob (@espresso_snob) reported

    @terrykhoyt1 @telusmobility Doesn’t telus share bell network ?

  • ClimateDuncan Duncan Noble (@ClimateDuncan) reported

@redjane The booster I bought amplifies the existing signal from cell phone towers owned by Bell, Rogers, Telus, etc. So it's a one time cost up front (about $600 incl. mount and HST) then you use whatever data is included on your cell phone plan.

  • JaneLeBreton64 Jane LeBreton (@JaneLeBreton64) reported

@TELUS for you guys to be so inconsiderate is quite insulting! I am a very fatigued frontline healthcare worker at the tale end of a year from hell! I have two aging parents plus a child is university. Yet, a company I pay $250.00 a month can’t complete a service call #BooTelus

  • dan_knauss Dan (@dan_knauss) reported

And it took about two minutes to take my business to @Distributel. Tired of the endless upsells from @TELUS and their failure to just maintain a simple, basic service. That's all I want. Not a spammy sales army that uses tricky pricing as a weapon against old customers.

  • twowrongsdontw1 twowrongsdontwrite (@twowrongsdontw1) reported

@ctvedmonton For my family a day at Telus World of Science and Ft. Edmonton Park is budgeted and a treat. Now I have to pay even more? Ridiculous. Cut the councilor wages. Taxing public parks? One of the few places low and middle income families enjoy without worrying is the wrong move

  • Friendo17865739 Friendo (@Friendo17865739) reported

@TELUS I cancelled your service a year ago when I heard you were getting involved with Huawei towers in our country. Also, when I switched, I didn’t realize how badly I was getting ripped off. 13GB data for less $ than I was paying for 5GB from you. $22 for an extra GB if I overed. 🖕
