Telus Issues Reports Near Ajax, Ontario

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Ajax and nearby locations:

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@AlexanderDKB @peternowak 💯 percent agree. Telus admitted as much in their testimony- the competition isn’t in the RAN, it’s in the core. The network core and the functionality it provides is where an MVNO thrives or dies.

  • anetto Annette McKinnon (@anetto) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Colin_Hung @HillTimesHealth @dtapscott @TELUS According to the Supreme Court we own the data but not the record which complicates the issue. Disagree with drs who argue that since they own the EMR and they enter the data, they are free to sell it if they chose to. #ThinkDigitalHealth. #MyData

  • ugwumCee - (@ugwumCee) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Every time I get my phone bill, there's a little surprise. I'm tired bruh. Should've Kuku gone to Telus and not have to worry about this shit.

  • GSawision George Sawision me. (master electrician) (@GSawision) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@nspector4 Time to shut down Telus before it gets Canada shut!

  • debbyhenry Debra Henry (@debbyhenry) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Disappointed with #Telus #CustomerService service. Was offered a great deal so I spent 30 minutes on the phone to only hear their sales office was incorrect about the deal.

  • tanvir_z64 Tanvir64🇧🇩 (@tanvir_z64) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUSsupport I have also been on hold for over 35 min because customer service transferred me to another department is this how customer service is for TELUS

  • queensantos1984 🖤Rachel Santos🖤 (@queensantos1984) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUSsupport is there an issue because I can't receive texts from boyfriend who Is with Rogers. His best friend is with telus and they can text no problem. This is annoying.

  • johnndavis John N. Davis (@johnndavis) reported from Toronto, Ontario

20200213: James McLeod : Telus to launch 5G network with Huawei by the end of 2020

  • ShaziGoalie ShaziGoalie (@ShaziGoalie) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I even said no one will call me back. I have never seen such bad controls between departments or any accountability from @adtcanada. This is probably the worst service I have received for a simple request to fulfill my order. Will anyone NOW listen to my concern @TELUS

  • shurmanator ℙ𝕖𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕊𝕙𝕦𝕣𝕞𝕒𝕟 (@shurmanator) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@georganneb @char_lawyer @Bell @Rogers @TELUS Georganne, nobody dislikes those guys more than me but the systems were not designed for this. Same for internet. It’s like a water pipe to service an apartment complex is a foot in diameter but not if everybody is always home and taking showers simultaneously. Get used to it.

  • lauramcgrathh Laura McGrath (@lauramcgrathh) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUS you are a joke. The worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life.... and that’s saying something.

  • RjSabotaged_Me Demon Salvator 😈🤷🏾‍♂️ (@RjSabotaged_Me) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Nah, this ain’t cool. My shit working like it’s a ******* LG Chocolate. Telus I’m bout to pull up.

  • jalaras Jose Alaras (@jalaras) reported from Markham, Ontario

@itransstatus We are still having issues and we are not a Telus subscriber. Please check your system again. Our submissions are returning “r, Please try later...”

  • sheldonbk Sheldon Kerzner (@sheldonbk) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Ani1u7 @TELUSsupport For sure Telus is wrong.. Turning off Wi-Fi turns the feature off because it's something that has to be supported by the cellular network. I don't know what OS he was running. He's our IT consultant so he may be on a beta or something

  • tracylyn44 Tracy D (@tracylyn44) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Hey @TELUSsupport you still are messaging the wrong person for account inquiries. Now you’re threatening to cut off the phone but when I log into my Telus it says the bill isn’t due until the 22nd. Wtf I don’t appreciate being threatened.

  • SherriStocks Pepper Redcastle (@SherriStocks) reported from Whitby, Ontario

@TOareaFan @TELUS @Bell @Rogers Yah. Now instead of making a shit tonne of money, they’re only making a butt load of money!

  • sheldonbk Sheldon Kerzner (@sheldonbk) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Ani1u7 @Rogers @Bell @TELUS I have a sharing plan that's grandfathered so extra lines are cheap. We never go over 10GB combined but I like the cushion. I always bought phones outright but not last time and now flagships are crazy$. Approx $100/mo w/add ons (voice to text vcmail, etc).

  • kevineproulx Kevin Edward Proulx (@kevineproulx) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FemiNelson1 @Bell I managed to get through around 8am but call-taker said his board went from nice quiet start of his shift with zero callers to almost five-thousand in pending in span of ten minutes. Sounds like Canada-wide Bell service outage. Glad my mobile phone is with Telus!

  • rishabh_snh Rishabh Sinha (@rishabh_snh) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUSsupport @TELUS I am having issues with phone. My services aren’t disconnected. Can you help

  • jmwensley Matthew (@jmwensley) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Everyone needs to understand what a terrible decision this is @TELUS is putting profit ahead of national security. I hope customers leave. @jkenney

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SpaceMutiny Laharl (@SpaceMutiny) reported

There's A LOT more people calling for the Big 3 here (Rogers, Telus & Bell) to be broken un or at least broken down enough that they will be forced to properly compete and also some more calls for the Rogers/Shaw deal not to go through at all.

  • elevtechlift elevtechlift (@elevtechlift) reported

@MobileSyrup This does not help. If everyone switched from Rogers to Public Mobile which is owned by Telus, this would simply shift the problem to Telus rather than solve the problem. The problem is the private monopolies having a huge responsibility on managing & maintaining a large network.

  • NorthwestVoip NorthwestVoip (@NorthwestVoip) reported

NET OPS: Telus appears to be experiencing an interoperability problem right now. Telus customers may not be able to connect to numbers outside the Telus network including some Northwest Numbers. Shaw and Rogers customers appear to be unaffected.

  • SquatchMcTimbit Squatch McTimbit (@SquatchMcTimbit) reported

Ok Telus - I'm done. I've spent the better part of my afternoon trying to get an issue resolved. It's hours to get a human on the phone, tried chat, was assured issue was resolved, told to wait an hour for full resolvement, that didn't happen, go back to chat, chat is

  • NielJStewart Niel Stewart (@NielJStewart) reported

@SoniaFurstenau @adriandix @bcndp Even the turnaround for an appt through Telus is bad. No, I don’t want to support Telus but was desperate to conect with a Dr. Earliest spot was nearly 3 weeks away! Waited 15 hours at the ER instead. 🤷🏽

  • j2simpso James Simpson 4x💉 (@j2simpso) reported

@cdspower Bell and Telus are to blame too. How many Canadians died because they were unwilling to allow a Rogers customer to place a 911 call on their network? Let’s talk about that too!

  • SquatchMcTimbit Squatch McTimbit (@SquatchMcTimbit) reported

disconnected. Got a voicemail but not call, from the Telus rep I was speaking to. It has been nothing but a frigging gong show since we signed up with you 2 years ago. I've NEVER had to escalate to managers with *any* business like I've had to with Telus. We will be calling

  • RedHeadChickie ~Sheila~ (@RedHeadChickie) reported

Hey @RogersHelps - 4 business days without a working landline is unacceptable. Are you going to pay some of husbands @Telus bill since he is paying for minutes and data because of your **** up? #RogersSucks #NoPhoneAtWork #ThisIsNotOK

  • Jennysaja4real1 Jennysaja4real34 (@Jennysaja4real1) reported

@TELUS @TELUSsupport omg horrendous service. On the phone for two hours and hung up on both times. I need to switch to Bell because this is absolute nonsense that no one can help me with my issue #terribleservice

  • pdbuick Patrick Buick (@pdbuick) reported from Moncton, New Brunswick/Nouveau-Brunswick

Odd that when Telus and Bell had a multi Atlantic province outage taking out emergency services communication, including 911, debit etc, and the next year, Rogers the same, there wasn't such a fuss.
