@AngelaUnspoken I only connected the dots recently when my phone crashed and I had to replace it. Started searching for the best mobile phone rates and explored the links: Interesting that there are only Three Major Networks and Subsidiaries in Canada Telus Network Family ◦Telus Mobility: Main carrier providing nationwide 5G coverage. Visit Telus. ◦Koodo Mobile: Mid-tier flanker brand owned by Telus. Visit Koodo. ◦Public Mobile: Value/prepaid brand operating on the Telus network. Bell Network Family ◦Bell Mobility: Major national carrier. Visit Bell. ◦Virgin Plus: Flanker brand offering mobile and-home services. ◦Lucky Mobile: Prepaid discount brand. Rogers Network Family ◦Rogers Wireless: Major national carrier. ◦Fido: Popular flanker brand. ◦Chatr Mobile: Discount brand focused on talk, text, and budget data. One Independent / Regional Network ◦Freedom Mobile: Major regional carrier owned by Quebecor. It looks like Virgin Plus at Bell offers the best plan at the best rates and Koodo at Telus plays a lot of pricing games on customers. So few choices in Canada. Wonder how that happened?

I am not a @telus @TELUSsupport customer and my mobile has been on the @CRTCeng Canada's National Do Not Call List since 2014 ...yet I still got a phone call.

@SonyaPaterson Oh geez Sonya, sounds like you've been thru the ringer! We've also had issues with Rogers/Shaw so we moved over to Telus for our cable & internet.

@TELUS @TELUSsupport I had to call technical the other night because my emails were not working. The front line person I received - I don’t know what she did - but it didn’t help so tonight I went through ChatGPT and it helped me step-by-step and I fixed my own email problem!!!

@FringedCanuck @Starlink Central Alberta here on Starlink. We have had no issues to speak of here. After years of Telus non-service and dial up speed level internet service, we are really happy with Starlink.

@TELUS Don't get involved with this company. They are the worst for customer service. They have apps that don't work and if you ask for a paper bill you get zero information on it. Then you try to leave them and they harass you and charge you hundreds of dollars. Think illegal

Aug 10 at 14:35 UTC: The Telus website incident has returned to recovery monitoring. Uptimus signals show reports have stabilized, and we are now verifying system performance.

@TELUS @TELUSsupport With more of our population aging and companies moving more stuff to the cloud, these issues will continue to happen but without providing a way for the client to get support for a change they did not request, without paying for it, is pretty irresponsible as a corporation.
