@Linda11119465 @strategywoman There were some Twitter jokes but it's very serious when the outage affects emergency services, interac payments, border crossings, etc., across the country. Even taxis/Uber weren't functioning properly. Luckily we have Telus internet and landline.

@AboutRogers Wish we had more options in Canada when it comes to Telcos.. Time to stop the Bell, Telus and Rogers Monopoly. Sub-customer service, sub-service..

@Procrastik8 @TELUS So stupid how they treat unvaxxed like they can have covid 24/7 but vaxxed spreading covid is fine

@ShayeGanam So how come my Telus internet service was down yesterday as well? Do they subscribe to Rogers for their service?

  • herstory_angel Herstory (@herstory_angel) reported

@CheriDiNovo @TELUS Um no! Absolutment Pas! As an owner of a medical medical office Telus has the worst customer service ever. They can’t be bothered to help the customers they have now. They never return my phone calls. Telus is about share holder profits before people. #TelusFail #BooTelus

  • fncwill Will (@fncwill) reported

@Skycaptin5 Because it’s coax / docsis 3.0 still :( It will take Till Shaw gets actual fibre to more places before they become closer to telus’s 1GB up and down

  • andygomez767 Andy Gómez (@andygomez767) reported

@LadyAvis20 @cpllottawa @AlixG_2 A lot of terminals and POS systems use rogers. If the terminal at a place used Telus or Bell for it’s connection you could use Visa/Mastercard/Amex etc but not interac. Also some banks credit cards were not functioning so depends on the bank as well and their network

  • WereleyG Wallace G Wereley (@WereleyG) reported

@brittlestar I sincerely hope that merger never happens. Rogers, Bell and Telus have too much power already.

  • sandmanxo SNDMN (@sandmanxo) reported
