    Odd that when Telus and Bell had a multi Atlantic province outage taking out emergency services communication, including 911, debit etc, and the next year, Rogers the same, there wasn't such a fuss.

    If you look at the numbers Canada wide, the acquisition of Shaw Communications would increase Rogers customer base by about 18%. It would put them about 2M customers above Telus and Bell.

    @TELUS ... I'm literally sick + tired of such poor quality #OptikTV. Trust me, I've done all your recommended "tricks" + it's pretty near impossible to watch a show without constantly dropping signal. I'm direct into the modem and not wireless, either. Time to start shopping.

    @maxfawcett Never felt I ever had much choice. I guess in the past decade Telus has competed with Shaw for my cable. And of course there’s always satellite. But I never really considered this monopoly industry to be competitive to my benefit. Rogers owning Shaw doesn’t really change that.

    @CompBullSheet @patriciaannmcd2 @CalamityJayne4 Telus International has call centres elsewhere.. mostly used as a service to other corps is my understanding ie ATCO, Enmax, etc.. Havent paid much attention to that division of their business.. Im not a client lol

    @stickers66 @ShawInfo Funny! This is when I usually boast about my flawless Telus setup... except it went down yesterday. No ability to short-cut the script, had to factory reset the modem twice before they'd check with provisioning dept and discover they'd forgotten there was an account on the line

    Top customer service from @TELUSsupport. Rarely have had issues with my services. Do recommend. @TELUS
