    @fordnation Ontario. • Industry dominance — Groceries: Top 4-5 chains control ~72-80% market share, fueling high food prices (up 30% in 5 years, highest G7 food inflation). Telecom: Big Three (Bell/Rogers/Telus) hold 80-90% wireless market, high bills. Car insurance: Elevated rates in many provinces. • Real estate — Foreign buyer ban extended to Jan 2027, but past offshore/domestic investor activity inflated prices; housing remains unaffordable. • Private colleges — “Diploma mills” exploit international students with misleading promises, poor quality; crackdowns ongoing amid permit caps. • Tax overload — Paycheque deductions, GST/HST on buys, property taxes, embedded in utilities/fuel/bills, plus annual filings — heavy multi-level burden. Other pressures: Soaring cost of living (groceries/utilities/housing), long healthcare waits, big bank fees, productivity stagnation, wage insecurity despite data debates.

    @MarkJCarney Excellent news PM Whats BC Hydro going to do ? Currently buying 30% of their power from USA coal fired plants & say 20 shortfall by 2029, Source Global BC news. Telus building 3 data centers. Kamloops one will gobble 1.4 Megawatts or the same as 85,000 people. Need help Tks

    @big_fan2019 Are you connected to your home Wi-Fi when looking? If you're currently off your home Wi-Fi (on mobile data or another network), those live channels automatically hide in the app lineup. Due to content provider broadcast restrictions, live NFL Sunday Ticket channels (1501-1516) on the TELUS TV+ app are strictly locked to your TELUS Home Internet connection.

    @HotStoveD I just went through the same problem a few weeks ago. Phone agents were even less helpful and unwilling to retain my business. Decided to finally switch to Telus. Unfortunately, they have been just slightly better so far. The telecommunications monopoly in 🇨🇦 is a huge problem.

    Today an @EPCOR garbage truck took out my phone landline in the back alley. I've witnessed them striking the overhead cables before, but today they broke one. Went through a rigamarole explaining to @telus to send a technician tomorrow. I loath both of these companies, BTW.🤬

    @VoteCanadaCom I haven’t had landline service since April. Have called @Telus repeatedly, keep getting told “they are coming”. They must be walking here from India. Will be cutting off payments since I am not receiving any service. Also switching my cell phone provider.

    @DarrenJMoots I posted on my old account that I was selling telus at 20 in January Mty why has been a real dog but it's very short sightedness They're closing down all their crap businesses basically Papa Murphy's and they're going to come out way better Short-term pain long-term gain It's a huge holding of mine like top 10
