@TELUS Such b.s., your network coverage is 'poor' at best. 'Cellular network not available ' 'Waiting for connection' are constant messages I get when trying to take or make a call or text.

Telus is offering 50GB of internet for 90 + unlimited calls and texting in Canada and in the US And I currently pay 90$ for 15GB. And every month I go to the US, the bill is 150$. I think ******** not

@TheDanLevy The 9-1-1 issue is a bit different. Nobody with a Rogers cell phone could make or receive a call to/from 9-1-1. Other telcos such as Bell or TELUS had no issue. In Canada, telcos have to ensure that 9-1-1 services are always available. Even if there's no SIM card in the phone.

@davidcheyne We know this was something nefarious. I know this was practice run for what is coming. Like you said I am sure it will be telus, Bell next, this is bigger than just a regular outage. Rogers is owned by Blackrock and Vanguard what does that tell you?

@CBCAlerts I have @TELUSsupport in Richmond Hill .. who by the way hasn't bothered to upgrade their tower in 10 years....and they know of the issue.... so I get Rogers Cell service EVERY DAY thanks to @TELUS Yay me. I feel lucky. 🙃

@midwifek @MrAhmednurAli Ok but you can jump to bell or Telus. What do you do when your OHIP sucks?

@StephanieCarvin @a_picazo @VassB What should be happening, IMO, is using other carriers as backup. If Rogers goes down, then traffic should be load balanced between Telus and Bell and let Rogers pick up the tab later. But that’s a whole different bag of cats.

@MobileSyrup I have tested both Telus and Bell worse service this can happen to any network

Holy ****, correct me if I’m wrong, but Telus is giving $100 credit for switch and $50 just for making a plan? If you get a $32 talk text plan, that means they’re literally giving away 1 month plans, just cancel after one month.
