Odd that when Telus and Bell had a multi Atlantic province outage taking out emergency services communication, including 911, debit etc, and the next year, Rogers the same, there wasn't such a fuss.

@TELUS Who is saving what ? Only to give the phone back ! Stop 🛑 it Telus - that’s a complete BS - but it from Freedom and save $300 with $270 down and you own it unlike Telus where you lease it

Are you serious #Telus? It's always at a good part that the signal cuts out.

@18kaler @TELUS But til that happens Freedom has better deals than any other provider. I got a great deal and some friends too. The service is alright, I don’t see a big difference to be honest

@ianhanomansing @checkupcbc I worry how this will impact British Columbians Right now the only home service providers are Telus and Shaw, BC doesn’t have access to Bell home Services for Cable How does this impact our fees?

@Rogers Monopolies are bad. You already team up with Telus and Bell to price gouge, I can only imagine what things would be like with shaw in your portfolio.

@TELUS Telus will likely raise the price of the plan within a couple of months while the customer is under contract

@ianhanomansing @checkupcbc Healthy competition is not possible when telecom continues to be an oligarchy. It's bad enough as it is with only 4 major players: Bell, Telus, Rogers and Shaw. Allowing this number to reduce to 3 is absolutely the wrong way to go. Unless, that is, they are heavily regulated.

@RenuBakshi i recently heard that Rogers plans to buy Shaw. I really don’t like that idea because I switched away from Rogers mobile service in 2011 to Telus for a reason. I’ve been a loyal Shaw customer since 2009 and have been mostly happy with their service.

I am ready to call Telus and ask for a refund with how bad my hub is working. The inconsistency of the speeds is painful #telus #ruralinternet
