If you look at the numbers Canada wide, the acquisition of Shaw Communications would increase Rogers customer base by about 18%. It would put them about 2M customers above Telus and Bell.

  • adolwyn Beth Allan (@adolwyn) reported

@justinhobson85 @Wx_Ninja I haven’t had issues with them since they let me manually choose who’s towers I used. Once I was able to use Telus towers in Alberta (especially rural Alberta), my issue with their wireless service went away.

  • bands_and_shits kelso🥴 (@bands_and_shits) reported

******* Telus called me, I answered saying hello to which never got an answer back which made me laugh and say “Wow you call and don’t answer.” They ******* hung up

  • TheLifestyleDig LifestyleDigs (@TheLifestyleDig) reported

Telus just cut out the Global BC news signal on a story about St Paul's Hospital. What's with the censorship @TELUS? What does Telus not want their paying customers to find out about the doctors?

  • MichelletypoQ Dr. MichelleTypoQueen (@MichelletypoQ) reported

@CompBullSheet @patriciaannmcd2 @CalamityJayne4 Telus International has call centres elsewhere.. mostly used as a service to other corps is my understanding ie ATCO, Enmax, etc.. Havent paid much attention to that division of their business.. Im not a client lol

  • Tim_Ell Tim Ell (@Tim_Ell) reported

I honestly doubt (more importantly hope) this gets kiboshed by regulators. It’s not a good move for consumers at all, no matter what the companies themselves want us to believe. And it sets a precedent. If Rogers and Shaw pull this off, why not a Bell-Telus merger? Equally bad.

@dzonershow @BrettCl52830843 @parismarx I worked for Telus for 8 years. Please let me disabuse you of the notion that the CRTC are the ones dictating terms. It's almost never the case. The big 4 have been calling the shots for decades.

  • soggywestcoast charles nelthorpe (@soggywestcoast) reported

@JRoc23 these pricks are moving towards a monopoly... I have Shaw out here and they're fantastic, fairly local, and miles better than any of the alternatives like Telus and Bell (who I dislike now for OTHER reasons) I don't want to be a pessimist but they're going to **** everything up.

  • NuckMyLife Jonö (@NuckMyLife) reported from Nanaimo, British Columbia

@MizzzAlia @Chemainiac Yeah telus’ customer service sucks. Even the guy who came and installed it was a ****. But I’m saving $80+ a month so that’s all I cared about haha

  • rantonstupidity James Wooten (@rantonstupidity) reported

@business Shaw never recovered from its early failure to invest in wireless, letting Telus, Bell and Rogers dominate the wireless market. Freedom Mobile was a case of too little, too late.
