@TELUS for the first time in 10 years I can genuinely say your customer service sucks. Your web store sucks at shipping anything on time, they caused the problem.. but the answer.. just cancel your service.. Okay, I most certainly will.

I’ve given up the same 416 phone number I’ve had for decades! I was told I’ve been paying $20 more per month compared to what people in Quebec pay. My cost of home internet/cable and cell service has plummeted compared to what I last paid in Toronto. #BellCanada #Telus

Welcome to Telus where customers feel entitled to a phone line and will throw accusations at you when they fail a credit check.

@MobileSyrup Switching back to Telus after my contract ends this summer. I have only had issues being with Rogers. I don't know what possessed me to switch providers. Oh well lesson learned.

@D1S0B3Y1NG (Yeah, Rogers really fumbled. I'm with Telus so I had no issues except maybe for grocery shopping last Friday. But, yeaaah..no bonus stuff for me. xD)

Remember @telus is the company that asked the government for a $ 2 billion refund after getting screwed by the CCP. Since @JustinTrudeau is in power, I'm sure he was absolutely fine with it. Anyways we won that war 18 months ago, supply chain issues? Blame Justin.

First, on why 911 calls didn't go to other networks with Rogers down. It's due to the nature of the failure: - if the radio network isn't available, Rogers customers fall back to Bell/Telus on local roaming - Rogers network was still up but nothing could connect, so no fallback

@tron Things not rolling over to Bell/Telus when there's a BGP outage is a pretty obvious technical outcome, and Rogers cannot control it anymore than AWS could have controlled access to their DCs when their Auth systems were down. But, where was disaster planning?

Hey @TELUS - remind me again why a current customer with 2 cell phones who needs a home line (single mom with a child who has developmental disabilities and is non verbal) needs a credit check before installing a $20 month home land line in case of emergencies?
-
Jean-François Mezei
(@jfmezei) reported
@Mark_Goldberg Rogers cellular 302-720 network remained “available” in many areas of the country (such a s montreal) so phones did not fall back to making 911 on Bell/Telus/Videotron/Freedom.
