  @retsbewm @TELUS @Bell @RogersHelps Telus has same coverage as Bell/Rogers off the Trans Canada (done speed tests on my moms Telus phone) and in Brandon Telus has better service

  @TELUSsupport @brndntlrnlsn TELUS changed my internet plan from 1.5 Gbps to 1 Gbps without my knowledge or consent. There was no notice, no explanation—nothing. If I ask them to fix it, only results is they charge me $200, no improvement after the repair.

These aren’t traditional evaporative data centres. Telus/Westbank designs use closed-loop liquid cooling—a sealed system that recirculates the same fluid, like a car radiator. Result: dramatically lower water use (company target: up to 90% less than conventional air-cooled facilities) and near-zero ongoing evaporation for the primary loop. At 150 W Georgia, the heat isn’t vented to the street. It’s transferred into Creative Energy’s district steam plant to help heat 200+ downtown buildings and cut natural-gas demand. That’s the opposite of “warming the city.” Protests highlight real questions about scale, power, and process. Those deserve scrutiny.   @RichardLBennett Data centres are everywhere. How do you think Telus, Rogers , Bell, all operate? Let alone any internet service provider. How are you possibly able to get out of bed knowing that the internet is operating every day? By the way, you're using data centres right now posting on X.

  @MPelletierCIO If she was managing my money, I would redeem my investment. I'm guessing she isn't an actual Telus customer, so is clueless. The problem is the hideous customer service, they would be better if nobody picked up the phone. I cancelled my cable, took weeks.
