My Shaw contract is up and I’m moving, new home can get Shaw fibre service. Disappointed that @Shaw will give me a deal to keep standard service but not fibre... may have to go with @Telus

  • MetalBlonde Karina Halle (on hiatus) (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

We’ve been stuck using Telus internet via cell towers until this gets sorted out, and it works only half the time. @shawhelp told us we would have internet in September. Then in October. Then in Nov, Dec, Jan...now @shawhelp is saying they’ll cancel unless we pay $5K

  • Langfordman Dave Morse (@Langfordman) reported from North Cowichan, British Columbia

So I’ve had no email service from #Telus since Wednesday. They aren’t answering service phone calls #telussupport When you ask them tough questions they ghost you. No solid answer of their email will be up #poorcustomerservice

  • shepherd_360 Speaking for the planet (@shepherd_360) reported from South Wellington, British Columbia

@MoistlySpeaking @DeceitinDrugs @jjhorgan I think you may be able to do that if you subscribe to the health service owned by Telus. Personally the last thing I want is more of my personal information publically available. It's bad enough Google provides an ad for aspirin when I talk about a headache around the devices.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Silva Bay, British Columbia

@isabeldc @TELUS I have a business to run so I have I limited data and theoretically good speeds. But Shaw was the worst experience of my life so Telus it is lol

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • waisenor waisenor (@waisenor) reported

@_asiwaju @folamanboy IMO all of them na the same. Jumped from Telus to Rogers and now Fido. I don't see any difference in their service

  • triden Christan Beharrell (@triden) reported

Several of the Telus 100Gb fiber cable links to Vancouver have come back online. This will relieve the network congestion that people have been having (phones, network communications). The patch is temporary until a permanent fix can be implement in coming weeks. @Kamscan

  • SammyBytes Sammy Lawrence (@SammyBytes) reported

@ShananSB @kathymahar @TELUS Now this is the kind of support that all corporations should do in a crisis.

  • thewindyshrimp windy_shrimp (@thewindyshrimp) reported

@TELUS - chat bot gave me a number to call for tech support that's no longer in service? Need help with my internet

  • CGWM_Muhs Markus Muhs, CFP®, CIM® (@CGWM_Muhs) reported

@JayeWalter Such a stupid merger from a tactical perspective too. Sum is less than its parts, as a portion of their customer base hates them and leaves. Telus meanwhile did acquisitions in other areas, like home security and health. Ends up offering a whole lot more to customers.

  • coolvehiclefan Brandon Arneson (@coolvehiclefan) reported

@JonaNFal @Rogers It's not just them. Bell and Telus had an outage 3 days ago

  • dmayhood David Mayhood (@dmayhood) reported

@exit266 @TELUSsupport @TELUSsupport is perfectly named. It supports TELUS. After a month of nothing but grief trying to get them to make my phones work, I gave up & went to Shaw. They don't listen, don't keep promises, redirect, misdirect, disconnect, & hang up on you. They treat customers as enemies.

  • chuued Federally Subsidized Kool-Aid Jammer (@chuued) reported

@sarahsmacdonald I used to work at telus. I'm sorry, it is ****. Which is exactly what I would tell people as I was selling them phones. We all know it's ****.

  • leftmindset Anti-Conservative Albertan ❤🌎🌹 (@leftmindset) reported

@edwinmundt Yeah. How long before it's the SanDisk event center? Everyone sells out these days. Ex: Telus science center, Rodgers arena. Capitalism sucks.

  • Brodie_Friesen Brodie Friesen (@Brodie_Friesen) reported

@the_sheep5 @gypsd77 Good point, Windscribe works too. Was going to make a VPN because they blocked Snapchat, and to profit, but turns out I’m on a closed network at home because Telus is stupid…
