@saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?

Don’t get me wrong I would love to see it and think they deserve the coverage. I just think you have to get the sponsors to buy in that it’s worth it and for us to support it🚨🏆🇨🇦

@mneylon @VodafoneIreland Yes, I'm using the term 'filter' in a very high level way. It's worse with Telus because you can "add" up to 25 contacts but beyond that and you must pay a monthly subscription fee. While I believe it's a hard problem to solve, I don't believe customers should be made to pay.

@TELUS paying over a hundred dollars a month for smarthub internet service and can't even download a 3 GB software update. Network sucks and has for weeks. Calls to "tech support" are simply "do a speed test". WTF

@woody_VA We are with Telus and all was well; then new phones about 3 weeks ago and now reception is awful. Dead zones and dropped calls. I thought it was the new phones but sounds system wide?

Wow… @RogersHelps Once my term is up, I am taking my business elsewhere. I defended the company and remained a customer for 12 years. And this is what happens? Absolutely pathetic. Can’t get with the times. That’s your fault. Maybe Bell or Telus will be better options?
