John Papaloni (@JohnPapaloni) reported from Grimsby, Ontario@patrickbetdavid to clarify on your video about Rogers. Rogers doesn’t control 90% it’s 3 companies Rogers, Bell (BCE), & Telus combined they have 90% of the market. Definitely a monopoly, we have a “Governing Organization” but run by telecom executives, so how does that help?

Mike Naraine (@MikeNaraine) reported from Pelham Centre, Ontario@samanthalrogers I chose them over Telus, solely to support your fam 😆😉

Alter3D Reality (@alter3d) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS If I told you some of the utter ****-show horror stories I have about Telus in a professional capacity (for big corporate phone systems, enterprise networking, etc), you would A) never ever give them your personal business, and B) wonder how ******** they're still in business.

Matthew (@MPK527) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Telus customer service is brutal. As soon as I hear the thick accent of the foreign call center person I know I’m going to be frustrated. They are going a similar direction as Tim Hortons. Would not recommend.
-
JABO Vancouver (@jabo_vancouver) reported@SluaghainO @TELUS I am at a BnB in Osoyoos. At home I would not have these problems.
-
Maximum YT (@Maximum__YT) reported@ppennguu Seems like it’s Canada wide issue, cloudflare is also down in Canada including telus

Salman (@salmanesmaili) reportedHey @TELUS @TELUSsupport Today I spent over 50 minutes on the phone just to add ONE channel to my TV package. It’s 2026. We have AI agents, autonomous vehicles, and instant digital banking. Yet a basic account change still requires nearly an hour with customer service. This isn’t a technology problem—it’s a customer experience problem. Do better. #TelecomMonopoly #LackOfCompetition Cc: @CRTCeng

TypeVFuture (@TypeVFuture) reportedThe BC government is investing 63 million to provide high-speed internet to 4,000 rural homes? It is planning to go through Telus which uses Starlink for in-flight services on Westjet. Why doesn't government directly contract Starlink to provide those 4,000 homes the most reliable internet service on the planet for a fraction of the cost? No logic. We need to change that. 63 million is nuts!

Jon Fraser (@JonFraserTF) reportedToday I ended 18 years with @telus as my cell provider. Up until 6 months ago they had always been decent to deal with. Recently they had 3 major strikes against them and with my Bring-it-Back period ending this week, I decided it was time for a change. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a masterclass in Kafkaesque customer service - that will now stretch into tomorrow. If anyone is considering @telus - don't.

Mark Warner (@MAAWLAW) reported"[The new @Telus fee] comes just as new [#CRTC] rules are set to kick in preventing telecommunications companies from charging customers when they cancel, change or activate plans... in a move meant to make it easier for consumers to switch internet and cellphone plans."🤔
