So a blocked number just called. I picked up. "Hello sir, this is David White from the Telus Phone Company. Are you sitting down? You have won a prize." "Wow! I never win anything! What did I win?" "550,000." "Dollars?" "Yes, $550,000, we will deliver it to you today."

  • clutchcanuck Clutch Canuck (@clutchcanuck) reported

@bell, you ******** will never see a dollar from me ever again - just switched my phone contract over to Telus #TSN1040

  • DJordatron Oil Demon Darryl J (@DJordatron) reported

Any phone providers willing to help me switch from Bell? I am under contract, lol. @TELUS @Rogers

  • Flux_Lalonde Paul Lalonde (@Flux_Lalonde) reported

@googlecanada @googlecloud @TELUS Maybe you could teach Telus to not re-issues email addresses from old customers to new?

  • notthebees87 Ben Belshaw (@notthebees87) reported

Yes, @Telus and @Rogers indulge in the same sort of shitty corporate behaviour @bell does, partly because consumers and the toothless CRTC tolerate it. But that's also the most powerful tool we the consumers have to signal to corporations that we demand better ethically. (/3)

  • garymoen88 Gary Moen (@garymoen88) reported

And I thought Telus was bad... #Bell

  • bk656 Aaron Burgess (@bk656) reported

@ChrisFaber39 @Bell Not a Bell subscriber and I’ll never go to them. Join me at Telus!

  • clairepalmster claire (@clairepalmster) reported

@Marisa_Ingemi the problem is you can't - the way Canadian telecom is set up is we essentially have three companies to choose from, Bell, Rogers and Telus. It's nearly impossible to switch companies and because of this these three companies pretty much just do whatever the hell they want.

  • islandrob77 R Heagy (@islandrob77) reported

@TheStanchion That is completely effed up. I detest 650 and will never listen to it unless they hire some of the 1040 guys. I’m canceling my Bell mobile plan and switching to Telus
