Vidéotron Issues Reports Near Burnaby, British Columbia

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Burnaby and nearby locations:

  • apukwa Scott M. (@apukwa) reported from Port Moody, British Columbia

@gregobr @Quebecor @Bell @TVASports If @CRTC doesn't slap them down hard, and fast, then they might as well give up regulating BDUs altogether. In Bell's position, I'd ask if it's okay to bootleg TVA Sports' signal from another BDU, or maybe even do it without asking. Perhaps with a Videotron box. ;)

@virginmedia We simply wanted to cancel 1 TiVo box but saving was only £4 per month! So we decided to cancel everything except BB but we would still be paying MORE than new customers despite being with Virgin since day1; Videotron > NTL > Virgin; 30 years loyalty not rewarded.

@Videotron @GretaLemieux9 "Developing new technologies" You get very generous R&D tax credits for that. It's not for people to fund your R&D. Poor excuse.

@Videotron hello. I am trying to watch TV on the app on my tablet. I am able to do it on my phone and computer. The Lenovo tablet says that it is not HDCP compliant. Can you help?

@Videotron @Videotron - sweet! (The only customer service rep left at the company and they're on Twitter of all places...)

  • shennyboy Eric Shenfield (@shennyboy) reported

@oscarmic Yeah - that would be the move. @Videotron - see? That would be a very simple way to solve your very stupid problem.

pov: ur a videotron customer service rep explaining to me why my bill has gone up 17$ since november for no reason.

  • mlevison mlevison (@mlevison) reported

Dear @Videotron over the course of 1 mth, I've had to call 3 times to have a $50 charge reversed. In all I've now spent 3+ hrs on hold. Service reps are all helpful. How 3+ hrs is madness. Perhaps Videotron should pay to improve the system. Good people, poor system.
