@PowderHoundPup $144 CAD/monthly unlimited bandwidth, hardware was $700 CAD incl. Wifi Router. Plug n Play in 10min. Xplornet was $115/monthly for 10gb usage. Xplornet hardware had rental fees etc plus contract. No contract with Starlink, cancel anytime. Cost difference minimal :)

  • unicorn_nb Unicorn Party of NB (@unicorn_nb) reported

@VernFaulkner @elonmusk @Xplornet Yeah, we hear you. We gave up on Xplornet after a weekend of 0.2-3mbps. We had signed up to be beta testers, we’re invited to put down a deposit in February, balked at that. Saw a house in the neighborhood with Dishy, ordered, never looked back.

@baagheecha @Xplornet Better make sure they don't remove the radio that was sending you internet entirely Several months we were told it's a problem on our end and need to pay them to replace everything, And when it didnt work, they wanted to do that again, but there wasnt even support on their end

@JohnWatersTrash @Xplornet We have signed up with space x for their new internet service, just waiting for our area to become active

  • steigercaseih Jordan (@steigercaseih) reported

@lisamariewilton @TELUS @SpaceXStarlink There are many in this area patiently waiting to ditch xplornet and telus hubs for Starlink. Telus released a bunch of BS stating its government policy that limits the cell spectrum to rural customers. In other words they want federal and provincial funding to help them along.

  • caamx_x Camryn A Meeseet (@caamx_x) reported

Only @Xplornet will take money from u when ur service hasn't worked in months. Cancelled in August and they still invoice me for September lol
