Derek Grant Holowka 🇨🇦 (@Real_McMunchie) reported from Ridgeville, Manitoba@mylodachef Just be glad you don't live where I do. I'd have to let it download overnight and HOPE it would be done by morning. Perks of being an @Xplornet customer - blazing speed prices with Sympatico speed.
-
Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Ridgeville, Manitoba@bigbushelsag @NetSetMB @Xplornet I’ve been wild. Doesn’t help. They’ve completely beat me down and I don’t care anymore. Supposed to get fiber this summer. Then to hell with these bozos.
-
Derek Grant Holowka 🇨🇦 (@Real_McMunchie) reported from Ridgeville, ManitobaCan't wait for @SpaceXStarlink in my area. So done using my cellular data for internet at home. It's been one hell of a ride @Xplornet. One I would not wish on anybody. I spend about an hour weekly doing system reboots. Just a garbage product.

Derek Grant Holowka 🇨🇦 (@Real_McMunchie) reported from Ridgeville, Manitoba@Xplornet so what's the problem this time? I have no internet. Again.
-
Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Ridgeville, Manitoba@chaduthf @NetSetMB @Xplornet Crooks buy up everyone then we are stuck with them. Sucks.

Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Ridgeville, Manitoba@bigbushelsag @NetSetMB @Xplornet The support people have been nice. Not their fault they are given shit to deal with.
-
Derek Grant Holowka 🇨🇦 (@Real_McMunchie) reported from Ridgeville, ManitobaIt's worth noting that everything I call, I end up having to do all the work on my end. Did it all. Still not working. I would not recommend Xplornet to my worst enemy. Quit advertising faster speeds until you ACTUALLY have them. Peak times are atrocious.

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@mario4thenorth Same thing as with EORN...Eastern Ontario Regional Network, tasked with getting broadband to rural eastern Ontario. 20+ years and a house bought in '98 can only access Starlink which is not part of EORN. Xplornet satellite latency and cost not competitive. Cell service spotty. When house was purchased Bell Canada promised DSL in 6 months. LOL. First of all too far from local switching central office for DSL.
-
Farming in Ontario (Leasa Janssen) (@RuralOntWoman) reported@Bell (mobility) reduced our rural service, @rogers is about to run a cable down our road. Guess where I'm going when they get done. TV, phones and internet. Our @xplore_ca reduces to dialup speed in the evenings and on weekends. ROGERS HERE WE COME, CAN'T HAPPEN SOON ENOUGH.
-
Ally Bryant (@Eh_Bee_Sea) reported@xplore_ca A tech came today. I am not impressed. This is a fixable problem that has happened and been fixed twice before. It's been years since we had an issue. This guy says the leaves on the trees make it an "unsuitable location for high-speed". Did the tower move? No. My house? No.
-
Tibalt Ablaze. (@Ansovald) reported@xplore_ca Found the issue, you guys did some tower work in my area during the day but still had no internet when I got home late Friday, the issue was the cable that ran from dish on my roof to my power box ( p.o.e box) came unplugged.
-
Mayor of Thunderhill (@Mullin_95) reported from Swan River, Manitoba@darrell88384848 @jayDouc3tt3 @BambinoJalapeno My only options for internet here are xplornet and Starlink , or hotspot my phone which would would require a cell booster because the cell signal is non existent.
-
Sir Jerry J. Molnár (@BlackhawkJer) reported@xplore_ca how does one get ahold of your support team? Won't answer to the online portal, phone calls are left on hold. Now resorting to email request.
-
Dan Wiebe (@DanWiebeFree) reported@xplore_ca Don’t believe a word of Xplorenet . I know this from personal experience and my friends and acquaintances share my experience. The speeds and data are far lower than they “sell” their service is crap. Starlink work’s terrific.
-
GL Guevarra (@GLGuevarra) reported@xplore_ca we got no internet in our area. Customer support is 1 hr wait time. Is there outages in the Westman Area?
-
Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reportedEveryone knows Xplore/Xplornet isn't good enough. The file even says so! They suck. Yet Telus tells people to use this option. Why? There's going to be problems that can affect life & death situations here. #CRTC
-
David Hudec (@DaveAHudec) reported@xplore_ca Once again business fiber is down during operating hours and can't get ahold of anyone for support... Why are we paying $600 a month and can't even talk to someone for support.
