I feel like @Xplornet and similar rural internet companies are the modern equivalent of Blockbuster, and guys like @elonmusk with @SpaceX’s Starlink are Netflix. The former simply can’t see the train coming down the tracks. Stop ignoring your customers’ needs! 7/

  • LucasTGreen Lucas (@LucasTGreen) reported from Kingston, Ontario

Can’t wait for starlink to be available in rural eastern Ontario. Tired of xplornet and their terrible services @elonmusk

  • koopy Steve Koopman (@koopy) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

So, I ask an honest question of @Xplornet - what are you doing to address your overburdened LTE service? Forget the corporate speak, subterfuge, key messaging & the oh so dreaded, “Please contact our customer support.”Instead, provide a true answer so we can decide to stay or go.

  • koopy Steve Koopman (@koopy) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

@AndyBlizzard87 I hear ya. I was with WTC for years near Sunbury but after our last move they didn’t have coverage in our current rural area. We were forced to choose @Xplornet, who have been hit and miss, but over the last 1-2 years they’ve been brutal because they flooded their LTE service.

  • koopy Steve Koopman (@koopy) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

@AnnDeer4 @Xplornet I have and they quickly gave me a $15/month credit for 6 months. But I almost don’t care - it’s the speed and dependability I need, not a relatively menial and temporary savings in service. I think that’s also telling how they gave the discount so effortlessly.

  • gbdmedia Brad Duffy (@gbdmedia) reported from South Frontenac, Ontario

@APLenehan our local tower has had “known issues” for four years now. Our internet doesn’t work at all now. According to xplornet, there are no plans to fix the tower. This is the worst service I have ever seen. 10 kB/s now. This is shameful.

All these "we're building rural internet" posts are funny because they should have started 5 years ago to keep at least some pace with urban options. Instead, they gave money to Xplornet and they just bought up their competitors and turned them to ****.

  • DiabloTweets Dylan (@DiabloTweets) reported

When you’re frustrated by @xplornet and their awful internet service and you search @twitter only to find out you’re not alone. You know it’s bad when you dream of the dial up days. What happened to the internet being an #EssentialService in Canada? @JustinTrudeau ?

  • Nick62289935 Nick (@Nick62289935) reported

@Xplornet For anyone thinking about becoming a customer...These guys relplied to my CCTS complaint about lack of speed indicating that THEY KNOW that they CAN'T PROVIDE what they are charging me for because of a KNOWN ISSUE WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT This is IN WRITING. I can share the letter.

  • Fred_Wreck1983 Fred Cee (@Fred_Wreck1983) reported

    @Xplornet useless ****

  • VoosieVooters Loricat (@VoosieVooters) reported

@Nick62289935 @Xplornet No surprise to me. How, though, are they allowed to continue to sell service that they are unable to provide?

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@Xplornet I have a full moon I can show you if you want. It's got slightly more hair than this one though. If you don't want to see that I have a pair of middle fingers you deserve to see as well. Fix your network and stop posting this fluff.

  • JustmeinNB Nancy Daamen (@JustmeinNB) reported

@m3t4lw01f @SucksXplornet Nope. 3 of us use under 500/ month. We tried Bell, It sucks too here. If this new option is viable, my husband will promote the hell out of it and Xplornet will lose lots of business in this area. Fingers crossed. It shipped yesterday,

  • sunkissedreyy h o n e y ♚ (@sunkissedreyy) reported

You can be paying for 50 LTE and get 5mbph. @Xplornet is the worst and is a complete scam. Not worth a penny.

  • Matt_Hands Matt Hands (@Matt_Hands) reported

@bell is charging my rural small business over $218 per month for LANDLINE phone service. They told me I could get that changed to $110 per month. For. Landline. Phone. Service. @SteveClarkPC Wonder who else they're doing this to in our county? Moving to @Xplornet phone service

  • Nick62289935 Nick (@Nick62289935) reported

@Xplornet No it hasn't. Outage has existed since the day you bought out the competition, and continues still.
