G. Louise (@Shuswapgigi) reported@MrStache9 We have Starlink and we like it. We live rural so our options were limited and what we had was very poor in both cost and effectiveness. Starlink was super easy to set up and works reliably well. It costs us $156 a month which is more that xplornet but I wouldn't go back!

AtomicHydra (@atomic_hydra) reported@xplore_ca @Victoriab1107 IM watching my signal go from 16-17 -15 SINR AND THIS IS ACCEPTABLE what..... my internet stutters and lags when it hits that low. Hands down worst service.

AtomicHydra (@atomic_hydra) reported@xplore_ca @Victoriab1107 Its a trap no one can help you they just look at your device and say its congestion or there is nothing they can do. Every thing is fine here. Worst service in Canada It should be ILLEGAL you claim you can watch high quality streaming.

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@MajJensen3 @OJoelsen Why would he? In 2021 I bought a house on a paved road 6kms from a small town. Not even Xplornet was available. Cell signal very weak. If not for Starlink, I and many others would have no internet access.

Both suck, however, many in the area have said their Xplornet signal became better when some users switched to Starlink. They are roughly the same, but nowhere near as good as fibre optic in the cities.

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@LeoNasau @thinking_panda Yep. 36,000km is the same as the Telesat satellites that were support Xplornet sat internet. My average latency was 670ms with that gear. Useless tech. Starlink: 550km from earth Telesat: 36,000km from earth.

All In (@apclaus) reported@xplore_ca Hands down, this is the worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. With other options unavailable, I had to put up with paying for 25 MB/S service but only receiving 3 MB/S and almost no upload speed. I wasted hours on the phone with them…they don’t care. 💸💸
