@Bell_Support internet has been down 10 hours and no ETA on the outage. Ridiculous.

  • burkby
Ron Perlman's chin (@burkby) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@imthegaybaker @Bell @comcast Good luck! Bell responses are indeed robotic. All the responses from their call center in the Philippines are also heavily scripted. You pay a premium for the service, and they outsource the support to the cheapest customer service they can find. Says a lot.

  • ConsumerSOS
𝚂𝚎á𝚗 𝙾’𝚂𝚑𝚎𝚊 Global News (@ConsumerSOS) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@PhillSnel @Bell The anchor was disconnected. That’s bad for connections!

@Bell worst customer service. My business internet down getting the runaround to get a Tec to the restaurant, have been told they will come on Monday but they can’t even find the work order. And refuse to send some immediately. Will be calling @RogersBiz first thing

@Bell_Support No they haven’t been restored. I was just informed that service can be out until 10:00 pm tomorrow. Terrible.

  • midtowngord

Watching the #BlueJays game on a chrome book. @Bell Fibe is down and looking at a website it looks like it is down all over Ontario (I've seen Ottawa, Collingwood Toronto, Mississauga etc.,) and even saw a report from Quebec. Atleast the internet is working 🤞🤞🤞

  • kevineproulx
Kevin Edward Proulx (@kevineproulx) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Bell_Support FIBE TV still out in Scarborough, but Internet & phone OK. I had been out running errands & working outside most of day, only realized TV was not working near 9pm. Guess scheduled shows won't be recorded to PVR. Watching Netflix.

  • JeffreyLuscombe
Jeffrey Luscombe (@JeffreyLuscombe) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Nope. Tech didn’t understand problem and he can’t divert from his service ticket. Internet won’t be fixed (tho still being billed). @Bell_Support

@Shudder @ShudderCanada You should know that Bell Canada is beyond lacking when it comes to customer service. This particular problem, it's been nearly a month ... nothing done. Sadly, not an encouraging launch for your partnership with them. @Bell_Support has never responded.

@Bell_Support your new fibetv update has been horrible. Freezing for the last two days. Rebooted. Restarted. Re everything. Still sucking.

  • lesley_pavan
Lesley Pavan (@lesley_pavan) reported from Mississauga, Ontario

@Bell can you please update your network outage page. It’s been over 15 hrs with your network equipment problem. The information says it was to be fixed by now. My online inquiry landed me to a site that wanted to charge me to answer the question.

  • mrwclarkson
Mike Wedmann (@mrwclarkson) reported from Mississauga, Ontario

@dave1agar @Bell_Support The other issue is having the call dropped after you've waited 45 min.

  • itoope

@Bell_Support network/system reset, but still my fibetv lags/buffers every few minutes. This is the new fastest service? Unbearable.

If you’re considering switching your internet provider, DON’T switch to @Bell. My area has had an Internet outage for FOUR consecutive days.@Bell_Support has no idea what’s going on. I’ve already missed two days of work and at this rate who knows if we’ll have Internet on Monday

Bell Canada Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • LoveMy7Wood
Love My 7 Wood (@LoveMy7Wood) reported

In my recent travails with @rogers, one thing that happened was their service technician accidentally disconnected my @bell home phone. Rather than have him reconnect it I realized I was paying $98.88 per month for something I rarely used, and received almost exclusively junk calls and scam calls on, so I called Bell and cancelled it. That’s $1200 back in my pocket every year. Boy, it feels good.

  • Kollerkunzultz
    Daberechi. 🟡 (@Kollerkunzultz) reported

@Highteaspeaks @chiebvka @Bell don't do it, the service leaves when you leave Toronto

  • gbpell
    Gavin Pell (@gbpell) reported

I can barely get @manitobahydro updates about the 17+ hour outage because the @bell service is so awful. Great job everybody.

  • brianpjtobin
    Brian Tobin (@brianpjtobin) reported

So apparently these are @Bell lines … hopefully they will attend to this safety issue before someone gets hurt unnecessarily … these lines are hanging from the pole way too close to the ground.

  • shaghayegh755
    Sherry Rezaie, MD (@shaghayegh755) reported

@Bell I hope this response is coming from a human and not an AI generated reply. Yes, I still need assistance, as I have not received any confirmation email that my service has been cancelled, despite specifically requesting cancellation confirmation during each of my conversations with five different #Bell representatives!

Here we go YET AGAIN Hello @Bell_Support You guys have the WRONG CNBC channel your network CNBC has two channels: the regular national CNBC channel and CNBC World Tell your control centre to change it back to the national CNBC channel which is on 24/7 on Bell Why does this happen every six months with you guys???

  • KNLCBD
    KNLCBD (@KNLCBD) reported

In Canada the most difficult part of any move is the major **** around you get by your internet/phone provider trying to notify them to cancel. Power a 2 min questionnaire. Gas a 2 min questionnaire. Well done squad @Rogers @Bell your what makes Canada great.

  • Lexikonin
    Demeter (@Lexikonin) reported

Called @Bell to upgrade my Mobility plan from the $35 plan to the $85 Ultra Plan. I was told as a loyal customer I would have to pay $105. The advertised $85 rate is only available to new customers. How does this make any sense?
