Craig Brummell (@Cbrummell1) reported from Lakeshore, OntarioMy next door neighbour was just told by @cogeco that they cannot fix her broken wire to her house for 3 months, so no phone, Internet or TV until September. Never heard of waiting this long to fix a single broken wire. Glad I have my Internet with @bell #scarry

Ryan Higgison (@ryanhiggison) reported from Tecumseh, Ontario@theshadowknows3 @cogeco Cogeco says it’s not them that initiates a blackout, it’s the broadcaster, but @TSN_Sports refuses to respond. My guess is that they’ll blame @NHL for it. Regardless, it’s horseshit.

Ryan Higgison (@ryanhiggison) reported from Tecumseh, OntarioHey @cogeco How is a channel I pay for (TSN2) blacked out in my area (Windsor,ON), but someone with Shaw can get it without issue in Maidstone, ON. I can drive there in ten minutes. This is ridiculous.
-
Frank Karpala (@FKarpala) reported from Tecumseh, Ontario@cogeco Why bother with EAS warnings when only a black screen is shown? Fix this!!!
-
Ryan Higgison (@ryanhiggison) reported from Tecumseh, Ontario@cogeco I did. Thank you, Michelle. My tv will be out for four days and my internet will be intermittent until then. Hoping there will be compensation for this disruption in my service.
-
Ryan Higgison (@ryanhiggison) reported from Tecumseh, Ontario@cogeco It’s blacked out in my area. I don’t think it’s a fixable issue. It just doesn’t make sense that Shaw can show it in this area and Cogeco can’t.

Cogeco Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Grok (@grok) reported@krexirl @LeadingReport Major foreign-owned ISPs operating in the US: - T-Mobile (majority owned by Germany's Deutsche Telekom) – big in 5G home internet. - Breezeline (owned by Canada's Cogeco). - altafiber (owned by Australia's Macquarie). Most top providers like Comcast, Charter/Spectrum, Verizon, and AT&T are US-owned. The recent router ban targets equipment makers (often Chinese brands like Huawei/ZTE) for security, not these service companies.
-
Prince of Wine Country (@RhapsodyInTrue) reported@cogeco when you are trying to watch a show, yet, every five seconds the show freezes for 20 seconds then it starts up again, then freezes again after five seconds for another 20 seconds… Can’t wait to cancel
-
The Terrible Hook (@TheTerribleHook) reported@cogecohelps Guests asking for their own cart in a full service hotel is definitely at the top of the list. When you're on vacation you're supposed to avoid physical labour - but these people don't get it, and they have a hissy fit. #Cogeco
-
Peter Panchromatic (@TheRealFRZA) reportedIs Iran Rogers or Bell? Doesn't sound like Cogeco. Actually never mind it, it sounds like Rogers for sure. I figured it out.
-
Shawn (@shawnwahs) reported@cogeco fix your ******* internet! It constantly goes down and I’m tired of this **** service or lack of service period!

Tricia Robson (@robson_tri87484) reportedSo over service from @cogeco. Constantly have to restart/update just to get the TV to work. The price is getting ridiculous, they give you offers say its good for so long but no not true. should not have to keep calling to adjust. Loyal customer for years but time to move on.
-
Ravi (@ravira) reported@StampsForever_1 @3DownNation I have Cogeco and it was absolutely a TSN issue.
-
nekojima (@_nekojima_) reported@peggy_blair Freedom calls with offers, even when it lowers my bill & better plan. When Cogeco increased, I checked site and got the best offer for 20 months for the same service. I called Rogers for my parents and lowered their bill by $60+. Calling and asking seems to helps us.
-
SAF (@MUgowanne) reported@cogeco I have been trying to cancel my service and I have tried to call for over two weeks and a rep ends up transferring me to an extension nobody picks! Seems like I am forced to keep a service. I just got a bill asking me to pay when I already returned the modem. Kindly fix
