@cogeco Thanks for the reply. I won’t bother calling tech support & waiting forever. Still no tweet yet about the outage. These tools help reduce the number of calls, use them.

  • DwightStead Dwight Stead (@DwightStead) reported from Lincoln, Ontario

Hey, @cogeco @cogecohelps the internet has gone down and a router reboot did not solve it. Tried calling support and it’s busy. What gives? Perhaps a tweet to update users affected?

  • DwightStead Dwight Stead (@DwightStead) reported from Lincoln, Ontario

@cogeco No, I haven’t. The tv is out too. Not sure that rebooting the modem will help but I’ll try.

  • RyanRuffy CoachRuffy (@RyanRuffy) reported from Grimsby, Ontario

@cogecohelps hi Cogeco. Our TiVo has 3 blinking lights abs will not turn on. I have tried to call technical services but the call keeps getting disconnected on your end before we can even speak to someone. Can you help me.

  • DwightStead Dwight Stead (@DwightStead) reported from Lincoln, Ontario

@cogeco I got tech support by phone and they promise service will be restored by 2:30. I hope so because my job requires internet acesss.

  • DwightStead Dwight Stead (@DwightStead) reported from Lincoln, Ontario

@cogeco @cogecohelps the internet has gone down twice in the last 30 minutes. Is there a problem in Vineland?

  • geordie_plastic Plastic Geordie (@geordie_plastic) reported from Pelham Centre, Ontario

@cogeco any idea of when today's issues will be sorted? Like many I rely on a reliable internet connection to be able to work. This is the second time this week this had happened to me and it is preventing me from doing my job.

@Solace_ffl @Carminevittori5 @cogeco Yeah, this happens to us weekly and they can’t seem to resolve the issue even with technicians constantly coming by.

  • Drav3n_ Draven_ (@Drav3n_) reported

Need a good laugh? Go to @cogeco and read the comments under their outage tweet. Man, people are babies. Internet friends, don’t be a baby!

  • mingram0 Michael (@mingram0) reported

@cogeco @townofoakville For everyone flipping out over this issue - No ISP intentionally takes their service down. Stop behaving like spoiled children. The issue appears to be related to DNS servers - if you set your DNS servers to Google's Public DNS your service may work. DNS server: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

  • toddycoupe Toddy (@toddycoupe) reported

@cogeco Your website and phone number are down too. This is very concerning

  • VoltzDr Dr.Voltz (@VoltzDr) reported

@Andrade14Mike @cogeco Lmfao I did not assume anything. I speak from my experience and that is all. Smh. Stop being a keyboard warrior and don’t need to negate how I am feeling towards the service. If you have a separate experience that is great. But I feel very different towards what I am paying.

  • KingAlbertPS King Albert PS (@KingAlbertPS) reported

  • AndrewJLowry Andrew Lowry (@AndrewJLowry) reported

@Costa_Klad @cogeco It is a 2021 ‘snow day’. My child can’t study so he is emptying the dishwasher. I normally WFH but off this week so I will do some chores. Cogeco is working the problem just like we have to wait for plows to clear the streets. #acceptance

  • AnwarHam Anwar H. (@AnwarHam) reported

@jordan_leroux @cogecohelps I am working from home and my kids were virtually in class. Called Cogeco so many times, went through the automated service then got disconnected. Super frustrating. Looking forward to change provider

  • John_Darch John Darch (@John_Darch) reported

@cogeco @cogecohelps fix the internet outages please! We’ve never needed the internet to work in our household more than we do now!
