If traditional TV-service telecom companies (like @telus, @Shawhelp, @Rogers, @Bell) want to keep their current subscriber base from mass increase in @Netflix subscriptions, they'll need to not only allow data overages, but open their VOD to free rentals. #telco #canada #big3

  • Oxcanhosting
Steve C (@Oxcanhosting) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Hey @RogersBiz you have got to have without a doubt the absolute worst service of any company I’ve ever tried to deal with, you should be ashamed how bad it is.

  • Roopanova

Update on my experience with @Bell @Rogers @TELUS Bell - Continue to walk around there nonsense. Terrible service. Telus - Options and we can work together. Rogers - Let's set up a call and see if we can work together. Probably the most proactive out of three.

  • WhiplashHimself
Jon G. (@WhiplashHimself) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Considering @Rogers @RogersHelps has screwed me around long enough, and refused to get with the times to help me out. I’m likely going to change providers after over 10 years of being a customer. Hey @TELUS, how you doin?

  • JKerby_88

@RogersHelps I just chatted with her age it online and they ended the chat without even resolving my issue not very happy

  • yegventures

@etowntechy @dailytechnewssh @TELUSsupport @TELUS @Rogers And I'm an Optik TV customer too! I've even unplugged one STB, and haven't used the other one (PVR STB) in over a week. I pay nearly $200/mo for sub-par service. In Canada, the internet is an essential service. Imagine getting power or natural gas 60% of the time. @CRTCeng @TELUS

People always crap on the cellphone companies but yet again, I received great service from @rogers today.

@GppPos1 @Rogers I hear there's still thousands without service, my son's girlfriend being one of them.😡

@Shawhelp since my internet is down and y'all took the night off I'm going to send you the bill for my @RogersHelps data! Cheers!

    @jamesgraham32 @OilersAlbMom @Rogers He made a better door. 😝😝😝 I’m 5’7” so I don’t know their struggles. Poor little ppl. Hehehe

  • yegventures

@SteveThePylon @dailytechnewssh @TELUSsupport @TELUS @Rogers I also used to use Shaw. Had to reboot my modem if I needed to work for an hour without lag. When I called to cancel, they tried to sell me some sort of speed boost service. Nope. They should've just never slowed it down.

  • Oxcanhosting
Steve (@Oxcanhosting) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Isn’t @rogers and @Sportsnet the absolute worst to try and get any kind of support from? So frustrating to deal with

  • PNM_79
Nick (@PNM_79) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@yegventures @Rogers @fluenthome If power is cut your WiFi won't work so there must be a eSIM in your security system that is on the Rogers network. U have WiFi so you'll be good. If both were to go out you'd have a problem but that highly unlikely.

  • JKerby_88
John Kerby (@JKerby_88) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@RogersHelps my cell phone service doesn’t work underground on the @takeETSalert underground LRT platform I want it to

  • Werdnah
Andrew d. (@Werdnah) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@KurtLeavins ... and this, among other reasons, was why I opted not to feed the @Rogers coffers any further with their glitchy @nhl Live. Their substandard technical & customer support both pre & post purchase only add fuel to the fire. #WasteOfMoney

  • eadriaans
Emmet Adriaans (@eadriaans) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Please cancel the @rogers wrapped in red event commercial.

  • CanadianGuy55
Guy Smith 🇨🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 - get vaccinated (@CanadianGuy55) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@Rogers I’d like to believe that, but I can’t. A huge percentage of takeovers and mergers result in the junior partner in the deal shedding staff at some point. Just give me better, more reliable and affordable service than Shaw, and I’ll be quiet, I promise.

  • PNM_79
Nick (@PNM_79) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@Prairies @RogersHelps I had same problem until I closed all apps and rebooted my device. Worked after that.

  • LoveMy7Wood
Love My 7 Wood (@LoveMy7Wood) reported

If you are considering (or have to due to equipment failure like me) switching from Ignite to Xfinity on @Rogers here are some things to be aware of that they do not tell you before, during or after the transition. First, a new account will be opened, independent of your previous account, and unless you call and close your previous account, you will be double billed. Second, nobody will ask you for your credit card and it won’t be transitioned from your old account so unless you go online and add it, in a month you will be getting nasty notices. Three, if you have streaming services like Crave that you buy through Rogers it will not be transferred to your new account automatically. You must call to get it added. Fourth, expect at least one of the Xfinity boxes not to work properly. I’ve done the transition now at my cottage and home and multiple service visits and equipment replacements may be necessary. Fifth, if you have Rogers/ Yahoo email or Finance accounts they don’t automatically transition and multiple phone calls may be necessary and it may take the knowledge of a supervisor to get them going again. And sixth, Rogers goes out of its way to make speaking to an actual human being virtually impossible and you have to fight with AI and may be lucky and get through to someone in a few minutes or, like me, you can waste hours and hours on hold. And finally, they are going to email you a survey on how they did. Don’t fill it in right away. Wait a few days to make sure things work and work as they should. Good luck!

@nitusai @Rogers @RogersHelpLine I pay $200 a month for cell and internet. It’s ridiculous. I was paying Rogers $300 they refused to reduce after 20 yrs as a customer so I left.

  • mikewal16285187
    mike walsh (@mikewal16285187) reported

@RogersHelps The streaming buffering is a well known issue with your product that you seem to refuse to address.A local small internet provider I had before Rogers bought them never had this issue and that was with a quarter the download speed.

  • LoveMy7Wood

  • cliffmathew

@JonFraserTF @TELUS Isn't Bell and Telus the same network? I have been milked by @Rogers for multiple years before I wised up and switched to Bell. 400+ dollars down to 200+, and much more data.

  • drinklotsofh2o
    RichardYanker2U (@drinklotsofh2o) reported

@LoveMy7Wood @RogersHelps Every time I would call Rogers I would start the call by saying “pass me through to customer retention because that’s where I’ll end up anyway”.
