@RogersHelps Thank you ... it’s so frustrating wanting to watch the news and not being able to. Never had this issue with legacy cable ..... EVER , but I was forced to switch when I moved !!

  • jeffkellyRADIO Jeff Kelly (@jeffkellyRADIO) reported from London, Ontario

@rparkington @Rogers @MapleLeafs Can’t get Bell TV or Internet in my part of the city. Old phone lines mean spotty service!

  • robert_gros Robert Gros (@robert_gros) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps I’m having no ignite internet, TV or home phone in Strathroy. Can you confirm if there is a #rogers #outage in the area? Is Rogers #down?

@Fidomobile @Rogers There is an outage, Canada wide, for both Fido and Rogers. Estimated time of return: 5pm EST.

  • midwifek Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

@RogersHelps Unless you do something about your truly shittastic rural internet, **** off. I'm trapped into using you because Bell doesn't serve me at all. I pay $500/month for your ******* crappy service and all you ever say is "sorry". **** off. I lost a day's work thanks to you.

  • stevequinton Steve Quinton 🇨🇦 (@stevequinton) reported from London, Ontario

@RogersHelps do you offer the USA Network with your service?

  • midwifek Kathi Wilson (@midwifek) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

About the system. She looked stuff up. And she solved our problem at the root cause. I wanted to cry. I know she isn't paid enough and she is gold. If all @Rogers customer service people were like her, they wouldn't be loathed the way they are. Look to her as a model!

  • ChesterSzypula Chester Szypula (@ChesterSzypula) reported from London, Ontario

@RogersHelps when is service expected to be back up?

  • mikechabot416 Mike Chabot (@mikechabot416) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps cancelled my SMH on March 5; nearly 2 months later, there’s still an open case to close my service. How does it take 2 months to cancel a service?! Zero accountability from any Rogers agent throughout the process. Cancelling all services with Rogers.

  • cedavidson Cait Davidson (@cedavidson) reported from Middlesex Centre, Ontario

@oxysnice @Rogers If you do switch back to Bell make sure your last bill doesn’t have Rogers owing you money, you’ll never get it back. Three months and they still haven’t paid me what they owe me.

  • ChrisJBur Christopher J Burton (@ChrisJBur) reported from London, Ontario

@stujo29 @Rogers Had the same problem, they just sent me a new modem…

  • Striker9 Sara Gilbert (@Striker9) reported from London, Ontario

Another Friday, another #Rogers internet outage. It's amazing - I actually made it a whole 2-weeks without having to call @RogersHelps for assistance. I was assured that "work in my area" had addressed the issue - Guess not. It's fine, I'll tell my employer to wait . . . Again.

  • leos_lover_2000 MarkyG (@leos_lover_2000) reported from London, Ontario

@RogersHelps Any reason why sound not working on cable TV? N5Z 4W5

  • davecam3 Dave Cameron (@davecam3) reported from Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario

@RogersHelps I also live in Strathroy and have no internet access. Any time estimate on when service may be restored?

  • inkscrblr Paula Schuck (@inkscrblr) reported from London, Ontario

Nobody here has been able to send or receive any calls today. No cell service at all. @RogersHelps why is this taking so long?

  • SQldnont Sean Quigley (@SQldnont) reported from London, Ontario

@RogersHelps what’s going on with phone service on Mobile?

  • DrJodiHall Dr. Jodi Hall, PhD (@DrJodiHall) reported from London, Ontario

Third @Rogers outage during work & school hours in 8 weeks. Countless troubles with work and kids’ online post-secondary schooling. Minor in the big picture, a real pain in the butt in the moment.

  • tristarmon Trista 💛🐧🏒 (@tristarmon) reported from London, Ontario

After 45 minutes of computer updates, my internet goes down. Thanks @Rogers 🙃

    @emmawaverman @RogersHelps I'm really sorry -- hopefully they'll see this and help. :(

  • SylviaBolle Sylvia Bolle (@SylviaBolle) reported from Thorold South, Ontario

@RogersHelps please please please do whatever you need to do to get your services in area code L2V 4R6. It’s painful to have to rough it with the service provider here. After having your Ignite TV, there’s just no comparison.

  • taraamascaraa tara (@taraamascaraa) reported from Kingston, Ontario

@Rogers Consider lifting data overage charges on wireless plans for those working from home with no internet, we need your support too.

  • ACmusic_10 Andrew Christopher (@ACmusic_10) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

    @DWeightm @TELUS @Rogers @Bell @Shawhelp Ok but seriously, **** Shaw too.

  • KameoCA nevin the dad (@KameoCA) reported from Kamloops, British Columbia

@n8best @garyvee @koodo @Rogers Might be a carrier issue. I forget the technical term for it.

  • nbellotoronto nicolas bello (@nbellotoronto) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@nxtom @BTtoronto Lol. We only have @Rogers TV because it's included with rent. Otherwise I'd never pay for TV, especially not that company. #cordcutting

  • MarkOrlan Mark Orlan (@MarkOrlan) reported from Toronto, Ontario

.@Rogers don’t give me free services that I don’t really need! 😠 Give me free extra bandwidth for all the videoconferencing going in my home right now to support me in my work, my wife with her business, and my daughter in her end-of-term classes. #LockdownCanada

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • pannetonc Claude Panneton (@pannetonc) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Rogers I tried to cancel my Sportsnet Plus package today. I sort of thought @rogers would proactively wave sport programming fees during the pandemic. instead, it made it impossible to cancel the package without booking a call back. The reason is obvious NO SPORTS ON TV!

  • shurmanator ℙ𝕖𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕊𝕙𝕦𝕣𝕞𝕒𝕟 (@shurmanator) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@georganneb @char_lawyer @Bell @Rogers @TELUS Georganne, nobody dislikes those guys more than me but the systems were not designed for this. Same for internet. It’s like a water pipe to service an apartment complex is a foot in diameter but not if everybody is always home and taking showers simultaneously. Get used to it.
