@tryoung Well, I found another thing that @FreedomMobile has over @Rogers. The mobile service at the @EYCentre is actually more reliable with Freedom during the @OttawaCC. I can actually get decent signal so I can look up the Comic Con schedule without having to step outside!

Rogers told me I'd get a refund cheque within 4-6 weeks and it's been 6 weeks and I'm cheque-less and sick of @rogers treating their customers like shit and taking their money.

Was impressed with #IgniteTV from @rogers for the past few months - that is until about 2 weeks ago. Service has been flaky for some reason. Lots of modem and “cable box” reboots needed lately. Hope it gets better soon for what I’m paying!

Sure hope that the @GlobalTV feed on @RogersHelps is better tonight than it was last night. Had to watch @BigBrotherCA On Demand to avoid the poor feed quality. #igniteTV

so it turns out there’s an issue in the area with @RogersHelps’ cable internet, and not just an issue with my specific connection, according to @startca - makes me feel a LOT better, but now I have no idea when my upload issues will be resolved and I can stream again..

@RogersHelps Lucky for the tech he didn’t need to do any outside work. This one was much more knowledgeable than the previous one and offered suggestions as well to help troubleshoot. Sadly issue is with my PVR box. Gotta replace it. Will call tonight.

@RogersHelps we did receive the paperwork with changes to the account. we are just going to deal with it on monday... if you can’t quickly figure out, we’ll cancel the services and keep what we have. (the attempted upsell from the guy we called today was a lot. )

@RogersHelps Thanks for the response, not sure the first sentence about being in a connected world is really necessary as all I was interested in knowing was if there was a problem and then some indication of what it was and what then repair timeline was estimated to be. Apology helps too.

@1darkblonde @Rogers Also took 8+ requests to get off their addressed mail list. They tried to get me to contact Canada Post. No dude, I don't want your company's shit. I'm literally being nice so you don't have to print it!

@Rogers Bell said the same thing when they bought MTS but did it happen? No. It's gotten to the point that municipalities are creating their own fibre network because Bell and Rogers would never dare do such a thing in rural Canada.
