Shaw Issues Reports Near Mississauga, Ontario

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Mississauga and nearby locations:

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • AlsoKnownAs_AA Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

  • shruti_shekar Shruti Shekar (@shruti_shekar) reported from Brampton, Ontario

Some comments came out of the @ShawInfo Q2 2019 conference call with respect to the @CRTCeng review on the mobile wireless network #cdnpoli #telcom read here 👇🏽

  • DelroyDyer89 Delroy Dyer 🇻🇨🇨🇦 (@DelroyDyer89) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Today's #rogersoutage is yet another reason the government needs to divest @FreedomMobile from any sale of @ShawInfo. While all @Rogers brands including #chatr #fido are down, freedom customers have service because it's a separate network still.

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

Shaw Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SighmanCanada Simon (@SighmanCanada) reported from Okotoks, Alberta

I remember when @Shawhelp was actually good. Every support action online now takes over an hour and simple yes or no questions from them take 10 minutes to reply. You guys really need to concentrate on one chat at a time, it's so fustrating as a customer.

  • drcru Anton (@drcru) reported

@Shawhelp I have a service appointment today but my cell is on Rogers and they're down. Will technician still arrive at house?

  • canadagraphs Canadagraphs (@canadagraphs) reported

I currently have #Rogers for my phone service. I currently have #Shaw for my internet service. @Rogers is currently trying to but @ShawInfo If they do, I'd have ZERO way to communicate when they next go down (happens like every 2 yrs or so) Canadian government STOP THIS.

  • adifood1234 Adi lally (@adifood1234) reported

@whytestreak @ShawInfo @TELUS Ya Telus will make you have no internet for 2 weeks if there’s an outage Shaw is better dude

  • musicbaum Musicbaum 🤖🐶🇨🇦 aka Mr. Ovaltine (@musicbaum) reported

@Shawhelp Too late. Everything is cancelled. No longer a customer.

  • sharonaleh Sharonaleh (wear your mask!) 🔯🌱🇨🇦🌈 (@sharonaleh) reported

@musicbaum @ShawInfo My deepest condolences for your loss. These companies can be such insensitive schmucks. My insurance company was beyond rude to me after my Mom passed. They don’t care about anything other than $$. What matters is being with your family now 🙏🏼👍🏼 (shame on them tho).

  • wjcmIII Cam (@wjcmIII) reported

@FreedomMobile @ShawInfo Where is the update that your cell service is down?? Be proactive and get ahead of it!!! Poor PR!!

  • alexjaimesevyn alexjaimes (@alexjaimesevyn) reported

It’s been 3hrs since @Shawhelp @ShawInfo went down in Glenora #yeg. Had a client call I couldn’t take and still w/out service. Messing w career. What gives?

  • ChrisDanger79 Chris Danger (@ChrisDanger79) reported

@Shawhelp Hey Don, appreciate the quick reply, but I'm sure my tweet was pretty succinct in the issue. The usual response is a Shaw pod range extender. So unless yall wanna just gimme one. We have nothing to talk about.

  • tinasvfx Tina (@tinasvfx) reported

@Shawhelp the tech support issue was a temporary fix. its still glitching.
