Shaw Issues Reports Near Mississauga, Ontario

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Mississauga and nearby locations:

  • DelroyDyer89 Delroy Dyer 🇻🇨🇨🇦 (@DelroyDyer89) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Today's #rogersoutage is yet another reason the government needs to divest @FreedomMobile from any sale of @ShawInfo. While all @Rogers brands including #chatr #fido are down, freedom customers have service because it's a separate network still.

  • AlsoKnownAs_AA Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • shruti_shekar Shruti Shekar (@shruti_shekar) reported from Brampton, Ontario

Some comments came out of the @ShawInfo Q2 2019 conference call with respect to the @CRTCeng review on the mobile wireless network #cdnpoli #telcom read here 👇🏽

  • Velvius Fake Name (@Velvius) reported

@Shawhelp Okay I guess I'm switching back. It's a shame I liked your pricing, but if the service doesn't work, it doesn't work.

  • TheCanadiancow Canadiancow (@TheCanadiancow) reported

@ShawInfo: You have 30 days to return our equipment Me: Can I have a box/label Sh: No find the return label and print it out Me: I have 30 days to or get billed $100 Sh: No we are billing you $100 the day after your service ends. Me: what about the 30 days? S: What 30 days?

  • GigNomad Nomad dude in Canada (@GigNomad) reported

@ShawInfo what the hell is going on with the service in Burnaby? Last two days the service has been extremely slow or not working. Yet you keep jacking up the prices on customers each yr. This isn't worth the $150/month we are paying you..

  • itsIBBO Kevin Ibbotson (@itsIBBO) reported

@Shawhelp what's the word on the outage affected East Vancouver?

  • B_J_56 BJ (@B_J_56) reported

@Shawhelp is there an ETA for the internet outage in McKenzie Lake Calgary? I’d really like to be able to work

  • WillMorr1 W L-Mo (@WillMorr1) reported

@Shawhelp CBS channel 141 has stopped working here in Winnipeg. All that shows is a black screen with the sorry we're having some trouble error saying you may need to choose a different program
