  • shruti_shekar Shruti Shekar (@shruti_shekar) reported from Brampton, Ontario

Some comments came out of the @ShawInfo Q2 2019 conference call with respect to the @CRTCeng review on the mobile wireless network #cdnpoli #telcom read here 👇🏽

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • DelroyDyer89 Delroy Dyer 🇻🇨🇨🇦 (@DelroyDyer89) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Today's #rogersoutage is yet another reason the government needs to divest @FreedomMobile from any sale of @ShawInfo. While all @Rogers brands including #chatr #fido are down, freedom customers have service because it's a separate network still.

  • AlsoKnownAs_AA Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

  • MisterJustinT Justin T (@MisterJustinT) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@CM02051985 @smFISHMAN @ShawInfo Enter your info, it might redirect you to the Network. I get a Rogers pop up to enter my info, that might just be how it works for Shaw.

@Shawhelp That's not my question. If I move out of a Shaw Mobile eligible area (for example, move from Vancouver to Squamish), will SHAW cancel my service?

  • KerryThomason10 Kerry Thomason (@KerryThomason10) reported

@ShawInfo on android phone. How can I cancel scheduled programming using blue curve TV app

  • ojas_joshi Ojas Joshi (@ojas_joshi) reported

As someone who has worked in a customer service call centre, I know what it takes to provide good service. Frankly, it doesn't take much. @Shawhelp you should be ashamed and embarrassed. #shawcable #unhappycustomer #CustomerService

  • AFatNigga1 A Respected Man (@AFatNigga1) reported

@Shawhelp please fix your internet in Marathon. It’s been hours without it

  • DennisKoch10 Dennis Koch (@DennisKoch10) reported

@ShawInfo Telus anyone? Our bldg just got new @TELUS fibre installed and @ShawInfo is starting to take advantage of their customer base. News. We can still leave. Two days short of when they know I pay accordingly? Not acceptable. #YEG #YYC No personal customer service is not acceptable.

  • GrimBunny5 GrimBunnyTTV (@GrimBunny5) reported

Shaw Internet is literally the worst for gaming. Shaw internet being ****** per usual. Ended up costing me even more ranked points and I now have a 1 hour ban. Can @ShawInfo recommend me an internet service provider that actually works? #ShawInternet

  • kjr_designs Kim (@kjr_designs) reported

@Shawhelp any eta on when the outage in Winnipeg (Fort Garry) will be resolved?

  • jpsandhu79 JP Sandhu (@jpsandhu79) reported from Calgary, Alberta

Hey @Shawhelp any idea how long this outage will be in central Calgary? Not many customers pay in cash anymore and debit/credit machine don’t work without internet.

  • Chubbicorn173 173 (@Chubbicorn173) reported

@Shawhelp hi, I’m in southern Calgary and I’m getting regular internet service but not 5G, have reset the router and same situation. Is there a reason for this?
