@ShawInfo needs to sell @FreedomMobile at a discount. They have neglected the network. It's unacceptable that in this day and age rain interrupts mobile data.

@CM02051985 @smFISHMAN @ShawInfo Enter your info, it might redirect you to the Network. I get a Rogers pop up to enter my info, that might just be how it works for Shaw.

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

Today's #rogersoutage is yet another reason the government needs to divest @FreedomMobile from any sale of @ShawInfo. While all @Rogers brands including #chatr #fido are down, freedom customers have service because it's a separate network still.

@dubelyew_one @ShawInfo They actually posted at 2:30pm today (problem resolved blah blah)… two hours later it all broke again and they put strike through on that post and reopened the outage. It’s legit going on day 5 now of no internet. I’ve lived in 6 Canadian provinces and never had this issue

@shawhelp who do I send the invoice to for my missed days at work due to your “small number of customers experiencing a modem provisioning issue” outage that I have been lied to being fixed within “the next 24-48hrs”? It’s been 9 days now.

@IanSeggie @Shawhelp Having a real issue with this right now. 48hrs no services
-

@Shawhelp Are you sure? There are some stations that come through without a problem at all. There has been no changes in my setup. This, as far as I know, has been a very stable setup. Nothing has been touched in over a year.

We've been with @ShawInfo for 3 years now, and in the last two and a half month it has become the most unreliable internet we have ever had. We had better service - no outages - in remote northern Alberta. I shouldn't need to hotspot my phone to work. #firstworldissues

@Shawhelp I have spoken to a rep every day around 5pm the last 3 days. I get the same answer. “It’s in the background teams hands and no eta can be provided. Seem like they lack sense of urgency as it effects income and child learning but no resolution can be relayed.

@Shawhelp I managed to decipher from your offshore Customer Service in Belize, that there is an outage in Okotoks. Is there an eta for services to be restored??

@TraceyMWoy @Shawhelp Easy fix if you've got the option, change providers! Shaw has shown that they don't care to have your business.

@Shawhelp Thanks Tom. Update page is still vague. Do you have any real information that can maybe save my job? This long of an outage maybe doesn't deserve another generic response. Seems to be a lot of residents feeling this effect.
