@Shawhelp Hello Shaw, I’m on Pender Island on Magic Lake and my wifi isn’t working and hasn’t been all day. It has been spotty for the last few days. I believe you are aware there is a problem but could you update me when it will be repaired.

@Gojetsgo8 @ShawInfo Sorry, but the service tech was either - 1. Wrong. They aren't necessarily the top of the tech food chain. 2. oversimplifying things for you. Those attenuators drop the signal so the modem can communicate in a power range they are tuned for. That's it.

@Gojetsgo8 @ShawInfo Makes sense. Levels can change in a neighborhood as more subscribers are connected, which could drop the signal. Possible both Techs were right at the time they did their signal checks.

@Shawhelp No doubt ppl in the neighborhood are contacting you guys en mass about the issue. I'm sure it'll get sorted sooner or later. Seems as if people all over the city have been complaining about shaw internet services today. Canon Ridge is experiencing an outage. It's a small area..
