@TELUS your south Edmonton common store just refused service to my mother-in-law. She has a medical reason to not wear a mask. You are not allowed to ask her her reason under Canadian privacy laws and are not allowed to refuse service under discrimination laws. Fire them all.

  • ChadOhman Physically Distanced Chad Ohman (@ChadOhman) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS I downgraded from gigabit to 750 and now my upload is half what I’m paying for. It’s been a month, your manager went on vacation and has since failed to reply to me. I’ve but over 30 hours into fixing your problem. The CRTC has the complaint.

  • JustCallMeEevee Eevee (@JustCallMeEevee) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@WhiplashHimself I got Telus at my old place because I got 4 months free and I was just moving on my own for the first time. My boyfriend who I now live with also has Telus and had just renewed his contract in 2019 for 2 years. Now it’s gotten so bad we can’t do basic internet things together.

  • RossFlats Ross Flats Vintage Apparel (@RossFlats) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@EdmFootballTeam @TELUS “It’s all how you look at it, we’re either short 5 yards for a 1st down or we only need 5 yards to keep the chains moving”

  • CandaceElliott Candace Elliott (@CandaceElliott) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport I have a PVR that freezes, I have spotty wifi and Telus is blaming an old cord that we have coming into our house for slow wifi...? Well then help me! It’s Telus Wi-Fi and Telus TV!

  • ChrisLaBossiere Chris LaBossiere 🚠 (@ChrisLaBossiere) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

I am going to cancel my @Shawhelp cable service as a Christmas present to myself. 3 months of half of my channels not working, at full price, was being tolerated. Die Hard on Christmas Eve not working, unacceptable. @TELUS you’ll be up.... get ready. 🎄

  • newmusicmichael charbroiled gargoyle 🚠 (@newmusicmichael) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

And the only way we can change things is with $$$. I’m slowly working on detangling myself from using any Telus services. I can’t support this company any longer.

  • chrisholmes13 Chris Holmes (@chrisholmes13) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport hey Telus! Merry Christmas. Just wondering if I can get a technician out to troubleshoot my network speed. Had 150 upgraded to 1gb plan, but I’ve never had speeds reach 100mbps. Thanks.

  • starchoice Steve P (@starchoice) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport Why doesn’t #TELUS provide any support for its e-mail migration? Tech support has provided no follow-up support. Numerous follow-up e-mails to CarlMichaelO.TELUSFIbreSupport just get ignored.

  • iamcsandiford CHRISTINA🇧🇧🇨🇦 (@iamcsandiford) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS @TELUSsupport why is my wifi cutting in and out? Are you guys having issues with your towers or something??

  • sheepleslayer69 Sheepleslayer (@sheepleslayer69) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@WesDJones @Mr_Alberta @DrJacobsRad Sure, but the flipside of that is Edtel and AGT were World leaders in technology, their research labs were set up to help with the war effort both were sold on the cheap to Telus in the name of privatization and Albertan's are not better off because of this deal

  • Harpe97 RinkRatt 37-25-9 (@Harpe97) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

  • JustCallMeEevee Eevee (@JustCallMeEevee) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Telus internet has created so many problems with my streaming schedule 😩 if things continue like this over the next month or two we’re going to need to switch ISP’s. With that being said.... anyone know if anyone is hiring? Mama needs a new job ASAP.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • AthulMa47972743 Athul Mathew (@AthulMa47972743) reported

I received second email from Rogers, The CEO’s forgot to mention what action is taken to prevent further outages in the future. Outage happened twice this year 11 Jan and 8th July 2022. I switched to Telus for Internet! The email meant a lot 🙄! #rogers #rogersoutage #Canada

  • Hockey_Mom_Rvw Kathy Chapman (@Hockey_Mom_Rvw) reported

@onesoccer @AlexGangueRuzic Won’t work if they are going to only be broadcast on a pay network that is not included in any channel package beyond Telus.

  • thetrblwthtracy tracy gora (@thetrblwthtracy) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS where are the reward points for my cell service? I pay $163/month and get nothing. The pmt is never late & I’ve been a customer since 2012. My Home Services are LINKED. Norton Security is LINKED. My Apple Watch is LINKED. Fourteen points in almost 2 years?? C’mon #telus

  • Robibey Robert Ibey (@Robibey) reported

5 days after @Rogers proved how bad an idea it is to put all your connections in 1 bundle, @TELUS says: "Get Amazon Prime membership on us with exclusive shopping and entertainment perks when you bundle Optik TV + Internet, from $148/mo. Plus order online today to save" DOH!

  • Hanajimaismycat Krista 🇨🇦 (@Hanajimaismycat) reported

@nationalpost I’d be frustrated too if all my plans to privatize healthcare, while blaming the PM, we’re called out. In BC they’re letting Telus offer pay for service programs that are undermining our public healthcare system.

  • JohnPapaloni John Papaloni (@JohnPapaloni) reported from Grimsby, Ontario

@patrickbetdavid to clarify on your video about Rogers. Rogers doesn’t control 90% it’s 3 companies Rogers, Bell (BCE), & Telus combined they have 90% of the market. Definitely a monopoly, we have a “Governing Organization” but run by telecom executives, so how does that help?

  • ostensiblyclear Jackie Hoffart (@ostensiblyclear) reported

Well, I have successfully delivered all 8 episodes of YVR Funny. Now they marinate for a few months and will be served this fall online (and on telus's streaming service). Can't wait for y'all to see them ... Should I have a screening party before the launch?

  • Mystic_Gogeta Gogeta (@Mystic_Gogeta) reported

@MsJLopez @RogersHelps This can literally happen to anyone, if Telus was the one giving the service it can happen to them if the government ran the service themselves it can happen to them.

  • Jennysaja4real1 Jennysaja4real34 (@Jennysaja4real1) reported

@TELUS @TELUSsupport omg horrendous service. On the phone for two hours and hung up on both times. I need to switch to Bell because this is absolute nonsense that no one can help me with my issue #terribleservice

  • jgvanides Jim Vanides (@jgvanides) reported

@RogersHelps - More details: We are AT&T customers who roam while visiting Montreal. Whenever the Telus signal was stronger, our phone would switch to Telus and work. During a one-brand outage, customers need to be able to manually choose which signal to connect to!!
