  • YegAndre Andre (@YegAndre) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS I have some questions about our home internet bill this month. I tried to call customer support several times but I can’t get through. Thank you!

  • yegventures Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@JohnZmhr @plbg_s @Bell @TELUS It's strangely an 'essential service' that has been rationed out by providers and streaming services it seems. Imagine if gas was only working 80% of the time or electricity was 60% power.

  • deborahmullan Deborah Mullan (@deborahmullan) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@DanDuckering @TELUS Well, we know that increasing the market share is more important that worrying about customer retention, since most won't bother leaving anyway. I hate Telus.

  • habanerogal Habanerogal (@habanerogal) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@marnipanas @TELUS I hope they got educated on asking for pronouns in order to improve the quality of service to their clients.

  • SandraBoos Sandra McLaren Boos (@SandraBoos) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS @TELUSsupport @teluslabtest I just spent 2 hours troubleshooting with a rep in regards to not receiving incoming calls on my cell phone for 2 weeks from Mar 30 to April 10 as per bill. They would NOT help me with compensation after problem fixed and regained service.

  • vanceavery Vance Avery (@vanceavery) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport @TELUS have lost my phone service!

  • Coffee_Baileys Harmony (@Coffee_Baileys) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@Saucy_Napkin Maybe you could help TELUS do something about these insane international calls going to everyone’s cell phones

  • AimeeMaccallum Aimee MacCallum (@AimeeMaccallum) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS @WEMovement Hey @TELUS I’m kinda done with continuing to pay for a service I’m not receiving. The only person kicked off my zoom meeting twice. Can’t refresh my email. Making it really difficult to work from home #horribleinternet #evenworstservice #onholdforhours

  • yegventures Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport I used to work in Assure. I've done everything on the last 24hrs client-side to fix the connection and eliminated all other conflicting devices. This is a TELUS-end issue. At the rate I'm going, my upload may be finished before my workday ends. I'm not risking it again for t/s.

  • ryan_dauphinee Ryan Dauphinee 🇨🇦 (@ryan_dauphinee) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport You can have your tech support reach out to me. Just tried the Telus Assist and it didnt understand my questions, and I called the tech support number and its “can expect wait times of up to 45 mins” Im not wasting my time sitting on hold....

  • yegventures Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@JohnZmhr @plbg_s @Bell @TELUS They can also make VODs free. It's not like people aren't paying for service. I pay nearly $200 for landline, internet, and TV (basic + Cantonese). It's probably why so many are switching to Netflix.

  • Fairyswirls Michele (@Fairyswirls) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Bought tickets online for @TELUS #marvel exhibition for 1145 still have to wait in line and not one person out of 6 that I have asked knows why terrible first experience been in line for 25 mins dont buy online.. #sucks

  • Harpe97 ChiefBadger 37-25-9 (@Harpe97) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Morning Warriors! I think I’m going to cancel my #Telus cable package. All of it. I can’t get into anything. When the #EdmontonOilers come back, then I’ll renew. Let’s see what they say. Stay tuned 😂

  • ironballmarket Iron Ball Marketing (@ironballmarket) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport Simple question and failure to answer telus. Shameful how you treat clients during a national emergency

  • CandaceElliott Candace Elliott (@CandaceElliott) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Honestly! @telus please stop sending salesmen to my door over and over! I already am a customer so stop bugging me to switch some services. Then the guy flat out asks how much I pay for a service! I’m not giving out financial info on my doorstep!! #telus

  • lynsonnenberg Lyn Sonnenberg 🇨🇦 (@lynsonnenberg) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@e45mcmanus It’s a good thought. Our Telus issue was resolved by then as it was an afternoon appointment. Gave me time to actually have lunch (novel idea).

  • Coffee_Baileys Harmony (@Coffee_Baileys) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@mental_gas @TELUS Yup, Chad for me too today. 7 times in 5 hours. It’s actually a slow day.

  • mitchell_ricky Ricky Mitchell (@mitchell_ricky) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@SteveThePylon @SamInYEG It depends! Ive had good experiences with telus. For example i just upgraded my internet from 150mbps to 1gbps and it actually dropped my cable/internet bill by $50 per month. They were doing the internet for $85 and they gave it to me for $65 as a long time customer lol.

  • yegventures Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@etowntechy @dailytechnewssh @TELUSsupport @TELUS @Rogers And I'm an Optik TV customer too! I've even unplugged one STB, and haven't used the other one (PVR STB) in over a week. I pay nearly $200/mo for sub-par service. In Canada, the internet is an essential service. Imagine getting power or natural gas 60% of the time. @CRTCeng @TELUS

  • yegventures Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

If traditional TV-service telecom companies (like @telus, @Shawhelp, @Rogers, @Bell) want to keep their current subscriber base from mass increase in @Netflix subscriptions, they'll need to not only allow data overages, but open their VOD to free rentals. #telco #canada #big3

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Wildarms_2 David (@Wildarms_2) reported

@Weatherman2709 talking to telus my new bundle :) That's right, if you're interested in signing up for 2 years service agreement I can offer $5 discount on both of your services and free unlimited internet usage for 24 months, that's $30 total savings.

  • TheLunarVibes Lunar Vibes (@TheLunarVibes) reported

Final update. Telus lost my business to Shaw the instant they said it could be up to an additional 3 weeks before I was set up in their system. I'm being reimbursed for this month of their service, and going forward will not be using telus as my isp. What an absolute disgrace.

  • JonCampbell57 Jon Campbell (@JonCampbell57) reported

@double_a_larsen @TELUS I wonder if that means we get faster signal

  • arichardson_phi Alan Richardson (@arichardson_phi) reported

Anyone else in Vancouver having Telus internet issues? No devices connecting here. 😱

  • AlbertaPAH Alberta Political Accountability Hub (APAH) (@AlbertaPAH) reported

If you want to improve connectivity, provide grants and resources to municipalities so that they can repeat Olds’ success. It’s a proven return on investment for communities that gives exponentially better service than Telus or any other big telecom company is willing to.

  • miker_reid2021 Mike Reid (@miker_reid2021) reported

Anyone on Telus network having their phone go absolutely bananas lately???? My phone has been sending old messages to people, and then also text messages meant for one person sending to multiple different people. Wtf?!?

  • jeannetix_ Jeannetix 🍍🍕 (@jeannetix_) reported

@TELUSsupport Yes, with lanyard ID and iPad. Look, I know you gotta do what you need to do to drum up business. Person was not rude or anything. I’m just not interested in telus security or any home security at the moment.

  • tcyoungwoodwork Tyler Young (@tcyoungwoodwork) reported

@edmontonjournal @TELUS Agreed. I had to talk to @TELUS with everyone at home and online. Sadly they didn’t have sufficient bandwidth for me to upgrade my service. But then they remembered my request and now I do have better service with more data. I’m happy.

  • TheLifestyleDig LifestyleDigs (@TheLifestyleDig) reported

Once again @TELUS is censoring their viewers and shut the signal down as Global BC News @GlobalBC was doing a news story about the devastation from the Lytton fire. What does Telus not want their paying customers to know about this tragic wildfire?

  • HopelessHelium Xerohawk (@HopelessHelium) reported

@TheCnsrCrusader Balloon boi will one day get enough helium to come back. Also **** Telus
