They must be hard up for $140 bucks. Customer service clerk was pretty rude when I asked for the penalty to be waived!! Classless move.

At least with Shaw I can send a DM and they help me online pretty quickly. All the call centres are a joke now.

Then after they are able to understand the problem, explain you wish some compensation for this waste of time, the serious mistake, etc. Often they will reduce your phone bill by even half for the rest of your business with them. Or reduce LD charges.

I never canceled anything so they set new date for May 12! Sorry not waiting 14 days for service! So ended up canceling the order!

You consent to that ping when you have cellular service on. Then TELUS aggregated and de-identified that data before giving it to the government. Your private data wasn’t given away.
