-
Mike Spicer (@MikeSpicer12) reported from Medicine Hat, Alberta@TELUS has a great scam. Move to another province and they nail you a penalty of 10 bucks for each month left on your term. They must be hard up for $140 bucks. Customer service clerk was pretty rude when I asked for the penalty to be waived!! Classless move.
-
Bryan Leitch (@Bryan_Leitch) reported from Medicine Hat, Alberta@austynpaul_ @TELUS I was going to switch to Telus from Shaw for their 4K sports, but after a friend’s been waiting 3 months for their “Free 4K TV”, I changed my mind. At least with Shaw I can send a DM and they help me online pretty quickly. All the call centres are a joke now.
-
Jerry Mayo (@jfmayo) reported from Medicine Hat, Alberta@tleehumphrey @TELUS I was about to cancel all my telus plans, they made a good choice.

LallyA (@LallyAd) reported@TELUSsupport I have so much regrets going to Telus mobility and Telus home service nothing ever works and my complaints never get solved just get put into circle
-
Brandon Wealth 🇨🇦 (@BrandonWealth) reported@CXL_LAB Yeah you can see Telus down bad this year
-
Scammer Defence (@ScammerDefence) reported@Paul__Walsh @TELUS @Rogers What banks do with forwarded smishing texts: feed them to threat-intel sharing groups like APWG and CAFC so the lookalike domain ends up on consumer blocklists. A free DNS-level iOS app installs that blocklist on the phone so the page never loads.
-
Dubon007 (@gdubon007) reportedRogers and Bell have both told reporters they do not plan to adopt similar accent‑modifying AI for their customer‑service channels, drawing a distinction with Telus on how AI should be used in call‑centre operations
-
ZeroPathos 🇨🇦 - Nasty Canadian (@PathosZero) reported@HRHRWH1960 @TELUS As for the issue, if you don't already know that, you should do a quick google of what these AI data centers are doing to towns in the US. Carney was a better choice than Poilievre, but that doesn't mean he then gets my blind support on everything.
-
FBananapants (@FBananapants) reported@LennyNanZhou @TELUS They make this claim. It ends up in an article and is passed along as fact? No thanks. **** AI. These mass surveillance data centres are no good.
-
Uniquepic (@BarbaraWor7624) reported@KirkLubimov I will never have anything to do with Telus. Why do they want to dupe their customers?
-
Hanner (@GangstHannah) reported@PeterMeiszner @BoVanston @TELUS You are either a mark or an ******* who is profiting from this trash
-
Wiredpilot (@Wiredpilot) reported@JsonBasedman Buy some Telus stock and stop being poor.
-
Joel - coffee/acc (@JoelDeTeves) reported@JsonBasedman @TheGeorgePu @TELUS I would rather have seen that money go to proven research cases, but then of course there is a lot of potential for fraud Point being we have talent here and I don’t see how Telus isn’t going to make it it more accessible for them Many researchers are stuck renting from RunPod and similar providers or else self funding The question is who is this supposed to benefit I don’t see Telus acquiring prime locations and getting a break on taxes as beneficial to Canadians (this is the same company who is in trouble for using AI to cover up their telephone rep’s accents) They certainly aren’t going to make the cost of inference cheaper - we are already way behind and the cost has gone up, which means Telus is paying a premium Canadian startups are better off buying used GPUs at this point
