  • giolac33 Giovanni LaCorte (@giolac33) reported

@taimhuynh That’s why I use both carriers in my house. Bell, Telus & Rogers will never merge. We have options for redundancies. If service is critical then those companies (like Interac) should include the redundancy. Dual SIM devices exist. This should be a lesson to not max profits.

  • Matt_Szota Matthew (@Matt_Szota) reported

@BodenschatzRyan Hate to break it to you but it’s big two, if bell goes down so does Telus

  • Cortezzamorsky Kurtismith (@Cortezzamorsky) reported

@AdamWasTakenFFS This has been a problem long before Trudeau took office. I’m just as upset as you are, but the way some people find a single person to blame is annoying. Sure he may play a part but let’s look at who’s running: Rogers, Fido, Telus, Bell, CIBC and Shaw. How, why, and what [to fix]

  • copleac Peacenik ☮️ (@copleac) reported

@Erenskill @AboutRogers @RogersHelps We pay $152 / month for TV, internet and landline phone. I can get on the internet using my cellphone as a hotspot, thanks to Koodoo and Telus. This outage is maddening. More than 24 hours later, still no service.

  • thirtysixterpz TerpSlurper💨 (@thirtysixterpz) reported

@Paulchan1989 @Rogers Ironically they sent out an email yesterday boasting about how good their 5G network is.. LOL time to stop letting Telus and Rogers monopolize Canada 🇨🇦

  • MisterMcCracken I'm Big Ern (@MisterMcCracken) reported

@Rogers @Chuckn69Norris Tell me again about Canada's most reliable network because I don't remember Telus or Bell ever pounding me up the *** for 24 hours.

  • _Hark007 Hark (@_Hark007) reported

@Songbird_7_ @aw1883 @darvans Yes, I remember the Telus outage we had. It was also a bad one,

  • Zi72334564Zia Aamir Zia (@Zi72334564Zia) reported

Rogers, which has about 10 million wireless subscribers and 2.25 million retail Internet subscribers, is the leading service provider in Ontario, and along with BCE Inc. and Telus Corp, controls 90 percent of the market share in Canada.

  • MarleneJF4 MarleneJF (@MarleneJF4) reported from Kelowna, British Columbia

@cczwolf Telus didn't go down we had TV, internet, land line & 2 cell phones up and running all day. This is BC!

  • infil00p Joe Bowser (@infil00p) reported

@gregeh Fido and Rogers were on the same network at that point. I was on Fido and I switched to Telus in 2010 because my number wound up being given out to everyone during the Olympics. Also, Telus had the Motorola Milestone, which was the last good Android with a keyboard.
