@natvanlis i was browsing through the tv channels on Telus tv,wanted 2 c if the Rocky horror show extended version was on as i didn't get 2 watch it earlier as my wife thinks it's stupid but I love the show,so I get Hollywood suite up on demand & find the carmilla movie on it😁

@PatBlackstaffe @TELUS Tek savvy does use voip for its landline service. $22 a month for unlimited north America calling. You can also pay less. $10 for just local calls. I'd definitely pay the bit extra to not have to worry about long distance calls.

@austynpaul_ @TELUS I was going to switch to Telus from Shaw for their 4K sports, but after a friend’s been waiting 3 months for their “Free 4K TV”, I changed my mind. At least with Shaw I can send a DM and they help me online pretty quickly. All the call centres are a joke now.

Today, I called @TELUS again about an outstanding ticket I have w/them regarding dropped phone calls on my data plan. A male service representative said that they've had this outstanding issue for 4-6 weeks & that at least 20 other phones in this region #ygk have reported issues.

@timmy_bro_ @TELUSsupport I am working with a manager, but doesn’t seem to be able to find problem. This has been plaguing my t.v , Dr. Zoom calls, for along time. Many TELUS service techs sent, but still not able to watch our tv, room calls, streaming due to problems. Have paid for 75Mpbs.😡

@Halpingal @TELUSsupport It is my biggest issue with Telus. It takes far too long for them to get anything done or contact you. We've also had luck going into our local store & talking with our rep - we only deal with her (for the past 2 years) & she's been very helpful & moved things along.

@avibryant @moonpolysoft Another factor is that 4g has pretty good range. We have some Telus “rural” plan at our Keats Island cabin that is good enough to do work & watch video. 15-20Mb down IIRC. So you may not need satellite tech.
