@thinking_panda I remember when I was in China, I used the number of China Unicom, the package is 10yuan/m and traffic is 1yuan (0.17usd)/GB, the home network is unlimited 1000m fiber. Now I am in Canada, the number of telus is 45cad / 6GB, and the home network is 1000m fiber, 55usd.

@SamsungCanada @TELUS According to today's news articles OneUI5 Android 13 won't be released to Canadian carriers until late november? Half the world has beta access and full release weeks ago. Poor effort here in Canada.

@nejsnave I'm unable to contribute but maybe these programs geared to low-income can help. I got home internet/home phone through Rogers Connected for Success. Telus has Tech/Internet for Good for youth and people with disabilities. There's also OESP for cutting electricity bill (Ontario).

@tleehumphrey I depend on high speed internet for work, just got gigabit purefibre that municipality paid big $$ to telus to bring in. For me it's been pretty well 100% reliable. Some of my colleagues have starlink & all have had issues. If I lost my fibre tomorrow I'd go back to wireless ISP

@TELUS how come every time I try and call client support, the wait time is over an hour with no opportunity to schedule a call back? I’ve tried calling in 3 different times and keep getting the same result. I don’t have that kind of time to wait on hold during the day.

@TELUSsupport Another dropped call talking to Saanich Police just now. This is great service we pay $200+/month for Telus. Someone called me to tell me there is no record of my complaints for two years, no known issues, and that they’ll call me back on Saturday. Awesome.
