@TELUSsupport Thanks, nope I didn't transfer this and got it from Telus last fall. Worked fine till this glitch today. But just had a friend call me and it's working again now. So I assume it was perhaps network congestion or something else temporary. Anyway, all good now!

Okay North Nanaimo people - what's with the cell service? You get one bar in some areas (temporarily mine) and have the highest taxes in the city. It's totally ludicrous that any part of Nanaimo doesn't have cell coverage but this is beyond stupid. @TELUS fix it.

@TELUSsupport I have a new activation with Telus, contract starts from 02 Nov but the billing cycle shows from 29th Oct. On top of that, I donot even have the sim card and device, but still being charged for the service and device. Also very very long wait times on the phone.
