  • CJAY932 Christina (@CJAY932) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@TELUSsupport I ordered Airpods on June 11th and was told they would take 3-5 business days to arrive. Still haven’t received any updates or shipping info. HELP! @TELUS

  • auxonic Eric Goodwin (@auxonic) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@TELUS I support government owned and operated infrastructure because the big telcos like you refuse to invest in it. You’re looking for a handout and to that I say “shove off”

  • antpepe antpepe (@antpepe) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@tleehumphrey @TELUS It will be good, the working from anywhere needs more bandwidth. This will help people increasing their cellphone speeds. Businesses need to recover.

  • wtoneill Will O'Neill (@wtoneill) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@TELUS should market a home security service that blocks the daily ads I receive from Telus for their home security service.

  • DaveInBlackburn Dave D Garand (@DaveInBlackburn) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

My #Telus phone service is kaput, anyone else?

  • PBoyer82 Paul Boyer (@PBoyer82) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@TELUS fix your dang app please. I can’t pay my bill through the app because it won’t load. I either get wrong password or cannot connect to server. #help

  • StefaneBrunet Stefane Brunet (@StefaneBrunet) reported from Rideau Gardens, Ontario

Let's put big hurt this afternoon against are hated rival Peterborough Petes this afternoon. Today home opener for home town ottawa 67's and sent them packing back down highway 7 to Peterborough this afternoon . This team has no quit #AllConnected @TELUS

  • mcguirp Paul McGuire (@mcguirp) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@BrennenLisa @TELUS @TELUSsupport Seems to be. First time we have had these issues with @telus really suggest not travelling with a Telus phone #buyerbeware

  • bramabramson Bram Abramson (@bramabramson) reported from Hull, Québec

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS And not just normalizing for units consumed, either: also reasonable bundle allocation & a dozen other things. Dividing aggregates by aggregates is the worst approach, except all the others -- better would be to opt out of market analysis. Which apparently has perils too. #crtc

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Ottawa_Biker @OC_Transpo Normally I don't have any issues in the tunnels until this past week and late week before. So strange. The St Laurent Mall Telus network usually picks me up no problem. Maybe I should try that one too. 🤔

  • OCT_Fan Michael.L (@OCT_Fan) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@HeneinThorn I’m pretty happy with Virgin 🇨🇦 @virginmobilecan Though I’m thinking of going back to Virgin as TELUS has the worst policy re paying ones bill .

  • Paulysworld Paul Atkinson 🇨🇦 (@Paulysworld) reported from Gatineau, Québec

@mikesbloggity @jkenney @shandro It's their plan to privatize for $ healthcare. They only care about $ & the wealthy. They gut AB healthcare, fire 11k during a pandemic, refuse to shut down, go MIA, & will "suddenly" come up with a "private sector" (Telus health) solution... this is skulduggery they're Ghouls.

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Ottawa_Biker @TELUS @OC_Transpo Perhaps mine is post morning rush hour issues.

  • vdehejia Vivek Dehejia (@vdehejia) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@TELUSsupport Thanks, nope I didn't transfer this and got it from Telus last fall. Worked fine till this glitch today. But just had a friend call me and it's working again now. So I assume it was perhaps network congestion or something else temporary. Anyway, all good now!

  • PatrickRKay Patrick Kay (@PatrickRKay) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@JimWatsonOttawa is @Rogers participating to provide cellular service in the tunnel, even tho Telus is

  • mcguffindavid David McGuffin (@mcguffindavid) reported from Chelsea, Québec

@perreaux I ultimately quit Bell mobility and went to Telus for a variety of reasons which could be summed up as “I really didn’t feel like they gave a crap if I was a customer or not.” So far Telus feels more attentive. Kind of like the difference between Air Canada and WestJet.

  • stillwellgray simon (@stillwellgray) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@TELUS Wrong geo location for this ad, no one in Ontario gives a shit

  • mcguirp Paul McGuire (@mcguirp) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@JenniferNKing @TELUS @TELUSsupport That's what they said. Will never travel with a @telus phone again. Lesson learned. Terrible customer service.

  • auxonic Eric Goodwin (@auxonic) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@human3500 @ALL_CAPS Lol... do we have an approach? Other than telus/bell looking for handouts to marginally improve poor service

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Patrici33944223 Patricia Andrews (@Patrici33944223) reported

@zwambagger @taimhuynh I have a telus phone my work phone is Bell. Internet and cable are bell and didn't have any noticeable issues all day. I work from home on a vpn and everything is fine.

  • Johnnyrock3000 Johnny Simon Rock (@Johnnyrock3000) reported

@DutchHockeyMom This is why we need starlink and free internet for all Canadian. Those retarded company slow down our progress and our economic. Roger TELUS bell and real mafia. #rogersoutage

  • Matt_Szota Matthew (@Matt_Szota) reported

@BodenschatzRyan Hate to break it to you but it’s big two, if bell goes down so does Telus

  • giolac33 Giovanni LaCorte (@giolac33) reported

@taimhuynh That’s why I use both carriers in my house. Bell, Telus & Rogers will never merge. We have options for redundancies. If service is critical then those companies (like Interac) should include the redundancy. Dual SIM devices exist. This should be a lesson to not max profits.

  • copleac Peacenik ☮️ (@copleac) reported

@Erenskill @AboutRogers @RogersHelps We pay $152 / month for TV, internet and landline phone. I can get on the internet using my cellphone as a hotspot, thanks to Koodoo and Telus. This outage is maddening. More than 24 hours later, still no service.

  • mora_point mora point (@mora_point) reported

@theJagmeetSingh I agree Jagmeet. Do away with monoply for the Telco. Bring more competition. Verizon. Break up Rogers Bell and Telus. Do not allow Rogers merger. Paying back customer for service outage is not the solutiob. Tackle the bigger ones

  • netter48 Jeanette (@netter48) reported

@biggles14 @ScottDavid2020 Telus only rents their towers from Bell. Will never have full reception Bell has. Have Telus at work 15+ yrs & its turned to garbage in last 4. Dropped calls, can't send text, ppl say they call & it didn't come through etc. Doesn't matter if in town, city, country, just awful

  • BellaWurl Bella∞⁷🦋|🇯🇲🇨🇦♊🐱ᵐᵒᵐ|💜 (@BellaWurl) reported

@zwambagger @taimhuynh Telus: best customer service imo. I switched after 15 yrs caz when I moved to basement at work, I had no reception. Switched to Rogers with a corporate discount. Bell focuses on new customer, not retention/loyalty. Rogers connectivity better than Bell. Let’s see its plans for DR

  • redmcgraw1 jack mcgraw (@redmcgraw1) reported

@FP_Champagne Is there a policy and technical way to ensure that canadians could switch to another provider (say videotron, bell, telus or shaw) if a provider (say rogers) goes down on an emergency basis, at the expense of of the downed provider (example rogers)?

  • jbkvcasr_bj JB (@jbkvcasr_bj) reported

@TheBeaverton Uneventful day! Hardly noticed cell phone wasn’t working. What does that tell you? Two things-life doesn’t end if Rogers, Telus, Fido, Bell,… fail and amount they charge you for their unreliable service is insane.
