@perreaux I ultimately quit Bell mobility and went to Telus for a variety of reasons which could be summed up as “I really didn’t feel like they gave a crap if I was a customer or not.” So far Telus feels more attentive. Kind of like the difference between Air Canada and WestJet.

@sitkamedia Power rates tripled for other municipalities residents to provide for the data centres. Public needs a guarantee that rates will never be impacted, is Telus getting subsidies and tax breaks by the city?

the background. He said so many people in the call centre were sick with COVID infections. And at work. Does that sound like good working conditions respecting quality of life. Never mind nonhuman life. TELUS exists to make profit. That’s all.

$ASTS: 🚨 TELUS CANADA HIGHLIGHTS THE COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT SIGNED W/ AST SPACEMOBILE IN MARCH DURING ITS Q1 EARNINGS. TELUS ALSO MADE AN EQUITY INVESTMENT IN AST. "In March 2026, we signed a commercial agreement with AST SpaceMobile, Inc. to bring space-based direct-to-cellular service to places it has never reached before across Canada. Planned for late 2026, our customers will be able to send text messages, make voice calls and use data in Canada’s most remote locations using standard mobile devices. Subsequent to March 31, 2026, we made an equity investment in AST SpaceMobile.

How is AI policy going in Canada? Well *Telus* is going to be building a huge data center in DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER (how is this even slightly compelling) and needs federal government help . . . We are in trouble. . .

@VanIsleInvestor No idea what it does. I bought the following at 52 weeks lows because I know what it does - Clorox, PAYPAL, Telus, DEO ( Johnnie Walker) . 90% of my subreddit members says they are bad company and thats my contrarian indicators to buy.

@HRHRWH1960 @TELUS As for the issue, if you don't already know that, you should do a quick google of what these AI data centers are doing to towns in the US. Carney was a better choice than Poilievre, but that doesn't mean he then gets my blind support on everything.
