They are not hiring Albertans but use $ they earn in Alberta to hire staff who spent it overseas. It is planning to go through Telus which uses Starlink for in-flight services on Westjet. Why doesn't the government directly contract Starlink to provide those 4,000 homes the most reliable internet service on the planet for a fraction of the cost? No logic.
